A gem of a find on the internet..... fantastic value, good food, great staff and dog friendly. The pub is like a maze... rooms off rooms... snugs..... and a bar area I could only describe as a riot of glass, bottles and wood. Well recommended.

At the time of doing this review we are still on our first full day. But, having said that we can't vault the place. Rooms are clean and well presented with nice furnishings. Large double bed which is well comfy. The bar is well stocked with several real ale's, various lagers and ciders. They're is a great selection of food on the menu, way to much to list and the portions are ample. We both had the Farmhouse breakfast this morning which consisted of, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, baked beans, tomato and mushrooms and toast. Well worth the money. And we would definitely stay here again.

We have visited The Olde Windmill Inn several times having stayed on their caravan site, however this weekend was the first time we stayed in one of their rooms. We were very impressed, the room was well presented although quite compact, perfect for a short stop over. All the staff we met were extremely welcoming and jolly and our dog was welcomed in the bar. We had an enjoyable evening meal and a superb breakfast this morning. I would certainly recommend this lovely traditional pub restaurant, we will definitely return. Thank you for making us so welcome.

We haven't stayed as yet only eaten as we are caravanners and been going there ten years or more to eat, and the food is first class, but only had two course as no room for three lol, but this last visit I noticed my knicker bocker glory that I had for a sweet, about two inches in the glass, half way down was empty, I guess it's the way they fill them to look large ones, the staff were helpful and friendly, will defo keep going,

We went to the windmill bank holiday Monday for a family meal. We arrived and were straightaway sorted with drinks and shown to our table. Great variety of food choice, also good for vegetarians as one of the party is veggie. Food was quick in coming out and was cooked lovely. Would highly recommend xx

I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to stay if you are in the area. A Perfect Stay at The Olde Windmill Inn in Great Cressingham, Norfolk We enjoyed staying at The Olde Windmill Inn during a two-day trip to Norfolk for a local event. This charming historic Inn exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Firstly, the Inn's ambiance is nothing short of enchanting. The place's historic character adds a unique and cosy feel you can't find in modern hotels. Every nook and corner tells a story, making our stay exciting and comfortable. The staff at The Olde Windmill Inn were superb. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, they ensured we had everything we needed and more. We were also deeply impressed by the local community. The people in Norfolk were incredibly welcoming, making us feel like part of the village rather than just visitors. This connection added a lovely personal touch to our trip. Given the delightful experience, if we find ourselves in Norfolk again, there is no question about where we will stay. The Olde Windmill Inn would undoubtedly be our first choice once more. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area who wants to enjoy a blend of historic charm and excellent service.

Lovely olde world pub with small cosy bar area, which then leads to a spacious restaurant within many separate rooms.

Stayed here for a number of nights. The rooms were great, food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. The only reason for knocking off a star (would have preferred to make it half a star as it wasn't a deal breaker in the grand scheme of things really) is that the complimentary wifi barely reaches the room (room 3) and phone signal from network provider (O2) struggled to get into the room too. Bearing in mind that I was here for work. If I was just here on a casual trip then this wouldn't really been important as I wouldn't have had to consider laptop connectivity.
