Lovely little village pub with a charming garden and lots of seating. I think our waitress was new as she seemed quite confused about everything but very sweet. The seafood salad was terrible. Very watery and tasteless apart from the sauce which was vile and tasted like it was a really old bottled sauce that had gone off. I mentioned it to another waitress who was lovely and really wanted to resolve it

This is a lovely village pub. The staff I met (2 ladies) were extremely nice. Happy and helpful. The beer taps were down the day we were there. But it was fixed by the time we left. We had other drinks, which wasn't a problem..the lay out of the pub is spacious. There's an extension on the back. Glass sides hard roof and easy ramp for wheel chairs. The garden was simple. Lots of bench sitting with umbrellas. I had the owner place more flowers and deco. The only downside I saw for families is that there's no kids area. So bring something for them to do. Now the food. I had the tempura shrimp. Order can be purchased in two sizes. Plus , loaded fries . Nice, . but I would like my fries cooked a little more. Other food purchased were a steak and mushroom Baguette and a Blt. Again, simple food but good. If I lived in the village, it would be a great local pub

Beautiful country pub with fantastic food and cheerful attitude from the staff. My son, who at the age between childrens and adults meals, was very impressed with the size and quality of the kid's meal. Unfortunately, the foul language and cigarette smoke wafting to our table from outside did ruin it a little bit.

Had a really nice lunch, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and dog friendly. We sat in the garden as the weather was glorious, nice to know dogs are also welcome in parts of the pub inside. Hadn't been here for a while and the improvements have made a big difference. Thankyou for the good service.

Recommend this pub to anyone; we were there this afternoon for the first time and our food was top quality. We had cod and chips and pork belly. The pork belly looked like a work of art and was the best we've had. Certainly going back.

Had a very pleasant Sunday Roast and the place had a warm homely feel. My toddler spilt a drink down him and the owner/manager kindly arranged for his trousers to be dried in the pubs tumble dryer which was a wonderful gesture. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. The place had more of a pub feel about the place so I'll be back for a few pints in the not too distant future. Thank you

In my opinion this is the best pub around. My family is always made to feel welcome, the food is lovely and the staff are fantastic. Ren, Kieran, Maisie, Liana, Rebekah, Paula and all the other girls are amazing, friendly and are always working hard. The rear garden is an attractive part of the pub which provides you with an added area to socialise and is maintained very well. The owners are present and they mix with the customers which is nice to see. The Plough sets an example of how a “local” should be and my family and I never tire of visiting. 10/10 pub that ticks all the boxes!
