What amazing, kind, friendly and wonderful people at Restaurant 43 are!. I cannot give 10 stars or more as only lets 5 max but this is the best Restaurant in Essex and the food us absolutely delicious. Thankyou to all Staff, this hidden treasure box is truly worth a visit and guarantee you will return time and time again as will not find anything that even comes close to the refined food, decor and friendliness. We booked a family meal for 10 (9adults 1child) lovely big round table so we could all see eachother to talk. Waiters and waitresses were lovely, not pestering you, but there when you wanted service. Food was lovely, at first I thought the portion size was small, but the flavours on the plate were to die for. Probably the best meal I've had, the only downside was a bit pricey, so unfortunately couldn't go there very often.
Favourite place to go and eat! Loveliest family that always make you feel so welcome. Food is always amazing, well presented and you can taste the love that goes into it. If you haven't ever been then you must go (scotch egg starter and chicken liver parfait starter are to die for) �
I would highly recommend this fabulous place to anyone who is looking for a really delicious, expertly cooked meal, in beautiful surroundings. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back! x
My new favourite restaurant! We came as a group of 6 on Saturday night and are just so sad that we didn't discover this gorgeous restaurant sooner! Everything was fab, from the staff to the atmosphere, the food to the delicious cocktails; nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing and such generous portion sizes. We will definitely be returning, thanks so much!
Absolutely lovely place. Amazing food and service. Very clean and relaxed environment. Had a lovely family meal and will definitely go back and will recommend it highly. The boys that served us were lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back. Especially for the chocolate desert we had. �

The food was delicious and made our anniversary very special. The nicest meal I've had in the UK and the best Shiraz. Service was also great and the interior of the restaurant is modern and clean. Will definitely come back.

We had our wedding reception here, and Mark, Ruby and the rest of team did us proud.
A beautifully decorated table for 30, attentive service, never pushy just friendly. An amazing menu selected just for us, with a fab kiddies menu on the side.

The food was very nice and the service was good , the only thing that I felt was wrong the music was to loud for eating (might be my age ) but when we were the only people left I asked and it was turned down no problem x

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Restaurant 43 today for my mum's birthday. The staff were so attentive. The food was delicious and we felt thoroughly looked after, a great experience all round. We will definitely be going back, thanks to all the staff.

A very nice restaurant located in Great Bently. The atmosphere is modern plush and welcoming.
The staff were professional, attentive and well presented willing to cater to our needs.
The wine list has a well thought out selection with something to appeal to everyone.
Our Table of 4 chose the traditional roast with 3 selecting the lamb done to our preference of medium, which was cooked to perfection, while the remaining dish was a rare roast beef that was also sheer perfection on a plate.
The accompanying vegetable dishes and gravy topped off 4 extremely delicious meals of generous proportion and great presentation served by the friendly staff.
There are numerous choices on their menu and I would love to return to try them.
All in all our dining experience was brilliant and after travelling all the way from the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia, I would have to say it is at the top of our list for dinning that we have had here in the UK.
