Best Indian food I've had since living in the UK. The portions are massive and cater to my whole family with leftovers. Delicious to heat up the day after aswell. Credits to the chefs.
My regular indian take away seems to be putting up their prices every visit, and although their food is exeptionaly good the explotation, and portion size reduction is getting beyond a joke. There is only so much blame Covid can endure! - They will remain nameless as they have treated me well over the years. I have been looking for an alternative for many months...
I found this place by accident and thought I'd give them a go.

Similar prices to my old haunt *BUT* they fill the take away cartons to the very top and not '1mm lower ever visit' The madrass was amazing, the rice spot on, and the bread superb!
I sincerely hope they keep VFM as part of their service and dont become profit obsessed like many other business in the UK right now. My mouth is happily tingling right now! That fantastic feel that only a good madras can give: thank you guys!
Had 6 meals delivered late on a random Thursday to work. All great portions everything was hot and tasty. We all really enjoyed our food we will be ordering from here again!
Food is really good and the portions are fantastic, we’ve had the set meal for 2 a few times and we can’t praise it highly enough.
The staff are really friendly and helpful when ordering too.

Food is always deliscious. Sraff messed up end of our post code and instead of an S put an F. Took 2 1/2 hours for our delivery after phoning four times to find out where it was. 😔
Went here to try it for the first time ever and I can honestly say hands down it’s the best Indian I’ve ever had in my life, the chicken was delicious, the curry had a nice kick to it but not too spicy, just perfect! The full meal was lovely and warm still, time wise was spot on we litterally received our food about 40 minutes after ordering which is spot on! Will definitely be ordering from here more often whenever we can! Keep up the good work :)

Ordered chicken makhani and tikka madras. Best curry i have had in Middlesbrough thus far and wont be my last. Only one thing to say, having worked in the middle east and preferring a less sweeter taste, the butter chicken could be less sweet. No big deal as i know it is tailored to the UK pallette. Good portion sizes and piping hot. Thank you!
Bit disappointed tonight guys, madras was amazing as always as was the tarka daal, but the chips/fries were definitely double fried so very dry and nothing inside them. Asked delivery driver if you were busy as delivery was a bit late, he replied yes, gave him a tip, not even a thank you! Your staff are normally polite & courteous, will still order, normally spot on
Being a person who survives on takeaway, this was one of my most favorite meal which was extremely mouth watering and tummy filling.
Definitely worth the money, highly recommend.

Beautiful food cooked to perfection flavours were awesome tried it for the first time on Saturday evening one of the best curry my partner enjoyed it too . Delivery was not quick but worth a wait could tell it was cooked fresh and naan were so fluffy thank you Akbar’s keep up good work
Great tasting food - after several meals this continues to be the best Indian takeaway I think we’ve ever used. Tender meat, thick sauces, well spiced and always delicious.

Awesome full of flavours thick gravy normally curries have lot of oil on top but curries from here are excellent being a local I never tried your curry as my previous experience was very bad before Akbar's ordered my curry from Marton but not anymore will be your regular
