Fabulous pub af the start of the Roseberry Topping walk. Many other walks from the door too, we enjoyed a lovely wander through beautiful bluebell woods. The rooms and bathrooms are very well appointed.

It’s a wonderful little pub that’s right beside Roseberry Topping. Went after a walk to get some food and it was absolutely delicious, both presentation & the taste was amazing. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are super polite. Everyone who goes for a walk around that area should always visit
Rooms are great, the staff are great. It's a really nice place to stay, the food is cracking, just go in hungry if you plan on ordering the Parmo . Special mention have to be made to Evie and Bobby, leading a team that make everyone (and "man's best friend") welcome. Can't recommend highly enough

I had a delightful Sunday luncheon with my family.
The meal was served promptly. The turkey was quite flavorful, as were the accompanying vegetables. I will be returning.
Fabulous 1 night stop over. Rescheduled at no extra cost after bad weather. Evening Food / drink and serving staff - excellent. Lovely warm rooms and the best bit, a breakfast to die for! Really enjoyed and we will be back soon. Great climb up RT next day.

Everything was top notch. The service, our room and the cleanliness was second to none. It must be said that the wi-fi was nonexistent and the phone signal spasmodic. I understand that moves are afoot to solve the problem.
Visited the restaurant again yesterday and despite our orders taking a long time to come out, the staff member's attitude and customer service made up for it once he spotted the issue. Sadly can't remember his name but he has bleached hair and a lovely, friendly presence. He apologised numerous time

Stayed here for 2 night the room was clean tidy and had a comfortable bed. The bar area and restaurant is modern & clean all staff were friendly and polite. Found drinks expensive compared to surrounding other pubs,food also quite expensive,Tip please provide a smaller menu on tables as there are too large and cannot see the people you are with,needs condensing down hence we had no option other than place on the floor, people also opposite said the same
Beautiful old pub/ building & location.
Our room was lovely, very clean & perfect for a one night stay.
