Living down on the south coast, you would assume the fish and chips, would be some of the best around?Sadly not. When my partner and I visit her mother in great Ayton, the first meal on my agenda is fish and chips, with curry sauce from Aytons fish and chips. These fish and chips are by far the best They beat any I've ever eaten, hands down. We are currently planning on relocating to great Ayton and I can't wait A slower pace of life, surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely people and let's not forget, the best fish and chips, right on our doorstep.,and a couple of great pubs. What's not to love about this place.

Recently I visited Great Ayton, from the US. This was my first authentic fish and chips ever. Ayton's did not disappoint. People working there were very friendly. Thanks for a memorable experience!

Ayton traditional fish and chip shop is a fantastic place to go for a quick and tasty meal, with the gorgeous smell of warm salt "n" vinegar, and don't forget mushy peas and scraps, there is a good choice on the menu and the staff are friendly and helpful, the chip shop is very popular, there is parking but it is first come first serve.

Had never given this place a thought until looking on Google for a fish 'n chip shop not far from Guisborough. What a really good decision it was to try them for the first time on Saturday night. Absolutely superb fish and chips - best we've had for a very, very long time - well presented and served by very friendly and efficient staff, in very clean and bright surroundings. Enjoyed them so much, had to go back to tell the staff how much we enjoyed the fish and chips and compliment them on the quality of their Customer Service. Absolute quality food and service and really great value for money.

This fish and chips shop is a good place to eat! The portion sizes are very good and the prices are also very good. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was cooked very well and was absolutely delicious. It is certainly a place that I would recommend. I will certainly be coming back next time that I am in the area.

The North East coast is known for our great fish & chips. We buy for ourselves, visitors and friends. I have been as a workman behind the scenes and this place is spotless. Very highly recommend

It’s busy for a reason, always very tasty fish and a good portion size. The battered sausage is class. We go very often and the place is always clean and tidy.

Located in the lovely village of Gt Ayton it is probably the best fish and chip shop in the area, The food is perfectly freshly cooked to order, well presented and quickly provided piping hot. The fish come in various sizes the large fish are whale like. The prices are very competitive in the area.
