We had family visiting us from Birmingham, and myself and my husband, had called in to The Mother Huff Cap, quite by chance, just for drinks. The interior decor throughout was lovely, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, that's why we decided to book here for our family meal. The menu was excellent. Something to suit everyone, and each and every meal was perfectly cooked and well presented. The puddings were to die for....( I can definitely recommend the Eton Mess Sundae although ALL the puddings were scrummy)!! The staff were friendly and the manager ensured that we were well looked after. It was also great value for money. We can't wait to come again.

Popped in on spec whilst out for a drive. Had a 2 for 1 pizza offer on - pizza are all a bit different than the normal but delicious. Staff were polite, attentive & helpful. We will definitely be back to try something else from the very interesting menu.

We visited The Huff Cap with our two dogs tentatively after reading the reviews but we're totally impressed by the beautiful decor, the warm welcome, friendliest staff and cracking food. We popped in for lunch and had a couple sandwiches which were delicious, soft tasty bread full of filling which came with a big portion of chips on the side. We also stayed for coffee. We asked why the place didn't have better reviews and apparently it's been shut for a while and was taken over by new management mid-December 2021. If you read the reviews from then this place should be 5*. My only constructive feedback which I think others have commented is the choice of background music, if you like Radio2 you'll be fine however it wasn't anywhere near enough to not give a 5* review 😉 We'll be back with the family and will give the restaurant a go. Took some photos to show others how beautiful it is. Thank you for having us.

Passed by The Mother Huff Cap a few months ago and thought it looked a lovely venue for a family birthday lunch. Dropped in for dinner one evening and after a short chat with the staff decided to hold my 60th Birthday lunch there. A custom menu was agreed from the various available menus and pre-chosen by the 27 guests. On the beautiful (if rather warm) day drinks were enjoyed on the terrace as guest arrived before we moved inside. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, the three courses of food were excellent, perfectly cooked, on time and enjoyed by all. Thoroughly recommend The Mother Huff Cap!

Had a meal here on Saturday afternoon. Great food, friendly service and a great building to enjoy the food in. Very well decorated. We had one of the sharing platters. It was well worth the money. Really enjoyed it. Can't recommend it enough. Also great name, it was the defining factor when deciding where to book a table, 😂

Enjoyed a lovely meal at The Mother Huff Cap this afternoon. Staff were friendly and welcoming! Lovely interior design and atmosphere not to mention the food was delicious and presented neatly. Special thanks to Nick who was enthusiastic to tell us about the recent refurbishment. And to our server Daisy who was very polite professional and smiley! Thank you :)

Lovely pub. Few issues with the service and food. We ordered nachos which came without guacamole and sour cream and sent them back. They came back out and we were told there was no sour cream or guacamole. No alternative or refund offered. Staff all seemed to in need of training as the bar staff didn't know how to make a shandy.

This is a great pub! Having recently moved into the area, this pub has become a favourite of ours. The staff are friendly and welcoming, great selection of drinks. Food is amazing and we’ve now tried quite a few different dishes. The seating around the bar area is cozy with some seating areas privately tucked away in little rooms with real fires roaring in the winter and the restaurant is light and tastefully decorated. Definitely worth a visit, and highly recommend the food!

Nic and his crew are brilliant. Having recently moved to Studley this place is quickly becoming our 'regular'. Never had a bad meal or beer.
