Absolutely gorgeous meal tonight for my father in law's birthday. It was quite busy but the service was great and food was superb. I had rump steak cooked rare to medium and it was perfect. Not often I get a pub steak cooked exactly as I like it, it's generally a bit over but this was perfect. Their mini dessert and hot drink is the perfect sweet treat too. I had warm triple chocolate brownie and a cup of tea.
Really enjoyed a family birthday meal. The food was excellent and well priced. The staff were very attentive without being pushy. We all enjoyed our visit, this was not our first visit, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you.
We were a party of 8 and 1 year old baby. A last minute booking but they accommodated us well. Nothing was too much trouble. Food came out hot and everyone was able to eat together. Attentive and friendly at all times. Food was really nice.
A really lovely pub! The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and the food really good. I recommend the Turkey roast, with additional cauliflower cheese! The service was a little slow on a Sunday, but it didn’t cause any issues

A good local pub & restruant with a Premier Inn attached, classed as a Pub & Grill, under the Green King chain of pubs.
Loads off off road parking right outside & all in the flat, for those less mobile.
Pub has a nice atmosphere, not crowded with loads & chairs/tables, with three main areas.
I ate from the Lunchtime menu, which I felt was good value for money & had a mini mixed grill which was well cooked, tasty & arrived pipping hot.
Seems a good place to bring friends & family for decent food at a fair price.

Was so glad we tried this restaurant out today. It was really great in every way. The staff are lovely and you get the feeling that they actually like working there. The venue is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. And the food was fantastic- everything was fresh, really tasty and beautifully presented. I had the salmon fillet and it was delicious. I could not say one negative thing about the whole experience. I will definitely be returning.

Came here for dinner and there were 10 of us. Service was great, food came out at the same time and was very nice. Would definitely come here again.
We booked a table by phone , however on arrival told not on list.
Not a problem tables were available. Albeit it was early doors.
Drinks first at the bar, then to the restaurant.
Only 1 member of staff at bar so a little bit of a wait.
Once seated at the table in the dining area. Our orders were taken.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Service a little bit slow , especially as not too busy.
Food / meals excellent , nicely presented , cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.
Price was very reasonable indeed.
We were advised to buy a bottle of wine as opposed to glasses, good advice.
No problems recommending here , but be prepared for a wait , if our experience was the norm.

Excellent service served with a smile, a quiet night with only a few customers but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Can't fault the place, why anybody would rate this lower than a 4* needs their heads testing...
