Great spot to grab a light lunch before a funeral down the road at GreenAcres. All clearly homemade, lovely tasting and great rustic atmosphere. Whats not to like? £6 for a very tasty but small sausage roll. Homemade, yes. £6, no. £101 for 7 of us hence the one star off.
Really exceptionally good espresso (I had two, just to make sure) and an amazingly chargrilled bacon sandwich on sourdough which I can still taste now. Fantastic
A lovely little farm shop with a cafe. The soup, cake & coffee are yummy, so I must return to sample more. Rumour has it that their breakfasts are very tasty too. A good selection of produce for sale in the shop. There is also a fish truck on a Thursday lunchtime which sells a fantastic selection of
Myself and a group of 4 visited Applegarth for a late breakfast. Lovely day for it so we were able to sit outside. The area was clean and tidy with a lovely atmosphere. As soon as we sat down we were attended on my one of the staff. They were very knowledgeable of the menu and a few dietary require
Came for lunch, food was really tasty and absolutely no complaints. The waiting staff although friendly, were not good and lacked the basic understanding of service. Drinks sat on the bar waiting to be brought to the table, whilst you ate your food without your drink, when serving they crossed in f
We have just moved very close by and are very happy that we have Applegarth Farm! Fabulous food today. The Ploughman's is very good and filing. Very friendly staff and service. The decor could have a "refresh" in places but I'm just hyper-fussy with regards to decor being an Interior Designer! Co
Wonderful coffee, very tasty and always hot Breakfast is lovely. There is a large menu choice and selection of additional items, all beautifully presented. Looks good, tastes good.
Our daughters took my wife and me out for lunch for our golden wedding anniversary an my wife chose Applegarth as it's just down the road. It was easy to book and we were given a good table and a highchair for our 3month old grandson. The food was superb, my wife and daughter having one of the best
Thank you to Charlotte and the team at Applegarth for making us so welcome. We booked the dining cabin for a 60 th birthday celebration. It was the perfect setting and the food was delicious, as always. Great service.
Lovely food. I stopped in here for a salad box and wasn't disappointed. Under £5 for a beautiful gourmet salad. It included red cabbage salad, remolade celeriac salad and roasted vegetables (butternut and red onion) I chose 2 slices of rare beef to accompany it and it was all incredible. Flavour was
What a surprise! We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary by coming here in August. Initially coming for breakfast (Applegarth has a good reputation for its breakfasts) we learned CoVid restrictions mean there's no breakfast for the moment. We had coffee on the covered decking as we watched the studios
An amazing Sunday barbecue with deli salad set in a fabulous family friendly setting. The food was the best in the area and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and laid back with is. We were a party of 10 seated in the garden. Lively play area for the kids with a hen, a large rabbit and guin
Great meal and good service. Was 18 of us and we all loved it so will definitely go there again
Nice food in a lovely setting. The farm shop is great with a good variety of produce.
Having heard good things about Applegarth, we popped in there today for an unplanned lunch and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the restaurant itself was spotless and a lovely relaxing place to eat. The food was fresh and delicious and was obviously made from
Quintessentially British dishes, which were well cooked and friendly staff. Every town should aspire to having a farm restaurant such as Applegarth. Overall great experience and recommend to others.
