Attentive staff. Very tasty well cooked, nicely presented food. The best crispy duck and crispy beef I've eaten for a while. Nice to have a quality Pan Asian treat locally.
I rung in advance to book a table and asked if I could get a nice one as special occasion.
When we arrived they had decked out the table in gold n silver confetti n also a big balloon.
The food was superb n service was good
The afters a blackcurrant sorbet is the best desert I've ever had.

Went to a tribute night. The food, staff, tribute act and atmosphere was great. Worth the money for the meal and act but thought the botte of wine and drinks were bit pricy!!

Went to the Freddie Mercury tribute was absolutely amazing we had a fantastic time
Took two friends for there first time at the restaurant who was most impressed with the settings, food and not to mention the friendliness of the staff, they made a our night one to remember. We decided to go for the set menu which offered a great variety of dishes.. Excellent value for money.
In addition I ordered a lobster in advance cooked in ginger, spring onion, this is one of the best lobsters I have ever tasted.
Well done to all the staff you work so hard to make everybody's evening special.
After the entertainment there was a small disco where quite a few people including myself had a little dance.
Could not of asked for anything else.

Went for my nieces birthday dinner, we had a lovely time. Our food was fish and vegetable dishes cos meat dishes wasn't halal. It's the very friendly and helpful staff.

Pretty good (without being great). Party of 5, went for Mothers Day. Nice experience. Had "usual" starters of spring rolls, prawn toasts, dumplings- all good. Had noodles, egg fried rice, szechuan prawn and chicken for mains. All good. Dessert was okay. Decent. Cost £130 for 5.

Wow !!!! Went here to get a take away. Excellent service friendly and super efficient. Arrived at 20.50 was out by 21.10 didn't have time to drink my beer wow. Than the food was superb. Just what you want after a hard day at little treat thank you. And the restruarant was very busy. Most impressed.

Went here for my 25th birthday as i love chinese food and it did not disappoint! I recommend the lobster in XO sauce. All the food tasted super fresh also!
Enjoyed our meal. Starter for me was excellent but my wife commented on how thick the Hoi Sin sauce was. Enjoyed our main and dessert. Would we go back???....yeah...overall enjoyed the whole experience

Had a wonderful time at The Oriental for The Michael Buble Experience. Very friendly, hospitable staff, lovely food, fantastic entertainment although rather Expensive.
Unfortunately the accessible toilet was unavailable even though it was stated at time of booking that one of our party was wheelchair bound.
If I didn't live in Cambridge this place would be my local restaurant becoz top quality food and staff is hard to come by.. it's such a beautiful restaurant I would definitely recommend this place to anyone Chinese New Year was a wonderful experience last night

Take away experience was very good.

The food has a distinct favour which separates it from others in the area.
Only negative could be the price, maybe it's a bit high.
There are signs warning you to enter your car registration, but the staff never mentioned it to me. I was only there for under 10min as was for takeaway.
I didn't enter my registration, haven't received anything about it so maybe the system only operates at certain times (I was there in evening), or there may be some time limit where it doesn't matter?
Nice food, got quite busy so service took a while but tasted great.
One of the best, fresh Chinese takeaways I have experienced since moving to Thurrock. I live out of the radius for free delivery but food arrived piping hot. Curry sauce was not how I usually expect, looked more like Thai green curry sauce but still nice.

I thought I would share a 5 star as I have eaten here for years, yesterday mid lockdown as you can imagine take away is busy everywhere due to not being allowed out. But stop to remember restaurants unlike McDonald’s are geared up around selling drinks and meals to make their money as a result takeaway only has meant people on furlough and redundancies. Nothing more upsetting for staff and owners to have to do this to their own team. As a result training other people to do more jobs and try to handle the huge volume of takeaway orders with half the staff making less than half the money is tough. Top that off with the rudeness that comes from some people. I waited longer than usual but sat an observed the stress and worry in staff and what they had to deal with from the public. Food is always been good and restaurant is lovely and the people are nice. You can’t go wrong by coming here and takeaway is busy because it’s so good. Just be mindful mid lockdown on a Saturday night prime time. Expect a wait for delivery. And there is never a reason to be rude. A smile and bit of sympathy for everyone’s situation goes a long way. I will always eat here and want to see local businesses survive.
Would give more stars if possible. Food was unbelievably delicious. The roast duck was beautiful and the roast chicken melted in the mouth. Very reasonably priced and quick service. Can't wait to go back.
