Recently made a trip to England for my nieces wedding and a little vacation. We went to Village Indiya for dinner on a Sunday. The food was delicious, the service was warm and friendly, and the ambiance of the place cozy and inviting. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and made us feel like family, joking around with us occasionally. Unfortunately I can't remember his name, I think it may have been Ziya, or something like that, but he was really nice. The place was so good in fact, I asked if we could return again the following evening for dinner! And it was even better than the night before. I enjoyed the sag paneer on Sunday so well, that the owner asked the chef to prepare a dish with the cheese, in which they took cubes of the cheese and grilled it with the tikka spices. It was very good. I recommend the crispy tiger prawns, the samosas, the mixed grill, the chicken kama sutra (but only if you like really spicy food), sag paneer, sag aloo, garlic and herb rice and the garlic naan. Also the keema naan and the onion bhajee. Basically everything I ordered those two days were excellent. And you have to get the pappadums and various chutneys. Looking forward to returning to England for more Village Indiya (and to visit family, of course 😉)!
this is the only place I go for indian food, the staff are attentive and courteous, the cuisine is absolutely delicious and melts in the mouth.. the venison and also the monkfish is amazing, in fact not one dish has disappointed me
Was our first visit to Village Indiya it was a birthday treat from my son and his fiancée there was a lovely atmosphere and we were seated as soon as we got there the food was amazing best Indian food I have ever had staff were great and service was brilliant we’ll be back

Really lovely setting and lots of waiting staff it was good to see a woman serving which is unusual in an Indian restaurant.

Another brilliant takeaway. Lamb Rogan and Chicken Biriyani superb. Would recommend Lamb Dosa as a brilliant starter. Keep it up :-)
Fabulous as aways. Our local & the food elsewhere just doesn't compare in my opinion. Very, very busy so very noisy, but didn't spoil the evening.

Come here for a date night with my husband and wow the food is out of this world. Also the staff are so friendly and kind attention to detail is spot on. The restaurant is so clean and lovely decorated I will be returning with my family again and children also. Highly reccomed this restaurant and food is 5star and more
Best Indian restaurant in Thurrock, and probably well beyond as well! Always buzzing and busy but with excellent service and friendly staff. The food is incredible, with the standard favourites as well as some amazing signature dishes. The lamb shank curry is incredible!
Amazing food and staff. The place also has a great atmosphere. My only minor criticism is the soft drinks were out of a bottle and not cold. Overall the best Indian food I’ve ever had.
Absolutely amazing food, the best I have had in a very long time! Fresh taste was delicious the Butter chicken Was 10/10 overall defiantly the wow factor. Best Indian around Grays by far we had a large group & the quality & level of service was fantastic. Tareq the manager made sure everything was on point. Highly recommended no doubt you will leave with a smile. Will most certainly be returning. Thank you see you soon.
Really nice Indian restaurant opposite Blackshots Park. The place was packed. It was very popular, obviously, because the food was exceptional. Parking available.

Had two friends from out of town coming to visit, and they love their Indian food.
They have eaten in restaurants up and down the country so wasn't going to book just anywhere. I read the great reviews of village Indiya and booked for 8 o clock Saturday.
I was surprised how small the place was and how busy. Every table was occupied with a narrow gangway down the centre with waiters rushing back and forth.
We were seated in a small waiting area along with several people collecting take away and were offered drinks.
As we drank our Cobra's more and more people came through the door with bookings until the waiting area was packed with more waiting outside.
After 35 minutes of this I was beginning the think I had made a mistake when a table of four donned their coats and departed.
The table was quickly cleaned and set and we were seated.
The service was fast and efficient with poppadoms and dip's arriving in minutes.
The menu had a few additions to the usual offerings and the waiters were happy to answer our questions.
We went straight to mains choosing Tandoori mixed grill, chicken Jalfrezi, lamb Madras, pilau rice, onion bhaji and peshwari naan.
The food was excellent, portion size good and polished off enthusiastically by the three of us.
We all agreed it was the best Indian meal we have had and has reset the bar for Indian food.
I must also give a mention to the girls behind the bar who were terrific 🍺👍

First time going since the fabulous Valentine's Day meal i had there recently, & let me tell you, it did not disappoint!!!Fabulous food, attentive staff. The best indian restaurant I've ever eaten in...& I'm very hard to please!!
Incredible food, incredible service (despite it being a Saturday night and as packed as it could be) and its even good for breakfast!

Very busy restaurant, excellent menu service very friendly and professional. I have eaten here several times and I shall return again. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
