Went to The Goose yesterday early evening as we were going to a show at the Woodville. Ordered a sharing platter...it was enormous and delicious and great value (£8.99). Had to get a take away box and take at least half home as far too much for me but too yummy to waste! Service was good. Staff were friendly. Toilets were decent too. Highly recommend a trip here. Would definitely return if I'm in the area again x

Booked lunch table for 8, was laid out and we were brought jugs of iced water- ordered at the bar and all the meals came together - we were asked if everything was to our liking. Great value at 8.99 for 2 . Will definitely be returning !
This pub is a stand out in gravesend . It’s clean it’s decor is refreshed , the prices are affordable and the food on offer is lovely . The customers are well behaved ish and the staff are happy and friendly . I took the ferry from tilbury and made an afternoon of it . Thanks to all involved
goose is a nice, inexpensive pub. the menu had a nice selection of food and drink, and i especially liked the customisability of the burgers - you can choose what type of patty, what size burger, what you want inside it - it's absolutely brilliant! also, the ability to add a topping into the burger is a great idea. i wish i got a photo of them now, they were very impressive. also, the waffle fries were great.
we also bought one of the pitchers and that was nice. i don't remember exactly what it was called but i think it was something to do with cherry. either way, it tasted nice and that's the main thing! it was bigger than we expected it to be. but that's a good thing, of course.
only negative is we did run into some issues with using the app to order. however, this wasn't a big deal by any means - technical issues will happen, it's not anyone's fault.
overall, i would definitely recommend goose.

Decent pub, with excellent choice of beer's, Good menu, although two of my choices was unavailable due to delivery issues apparently, That said, Meal I did have was lovely, Friendly staff and live football, what more could you want.
Mum and I visited the Goose Thurs evening for a Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, extremely tasty, hot and a good size portion. Everything about the pub was great, the atmosphere, the staff, the decoration. It was a great experience. The lady who served us was Claire and she was friendly, helpful and nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend the Goose and I will definitely be going again.

Kayne is an absolute star. When our booking hadn't gone through he ensured we had a table to watch the rugby. He is very polite and helpful and nothing was too much bother. Would highly recommend him for employee of the month. I'd give Kayne 5 stars but can only give 4 because the Goose ballsed up our booking

After our unexpected nights out on Friday and Saturday I can truly say the bar staff and door staff were absolutely amazing friendly and welcoming. The door staff made us feel welcome and safe even when outside smoking, we had a bizarre night full of energy and excitement and the DJ was absolutely brilliant, playing old and new songs. Definitely recommend this place for any ages since it's so inclusive. What we found quite comforting is there is a female door security that makes you feel welcome and not intimidated when getting checked, which we think is absolutely amazing with the high standard of security. The bar staff was absolutely lovely and fast and were very friendly and confident. We will definitely be returning next weekend for another fantastic night out. Thank you The Goose for make us feel welcomed and safe.

Five of us had a lovely meal on St Patrick's Day 17/03/23, having not been able to secure a table at our original pub choice...
The Fish & chips, Mixed Grill, Gammon & chips and BBQ Mac Burger with Waffle fries (upgrade) were all thoroughly enjoyed...😋
(The only thing we would improve is the filter coffee, which wasn't very hot).
Fantastic visit here during a Christmas shopping spree...food was spot on, definitely recommend the all day breakfast.

Staff are really friendly and helpful - in fact they saved one of the party a lot of heart ache by coming across glucose testing kit, which had been left at the bar by mistake, and returning it to us.
