Had their special - leg of lamb, 4 veg dishes,2 rice and 2 naan breads for £85.95, which even between 3 of us was very good value for money. It has to be ordered in advance and a deposit is required. What they didn't tell us was the leg of lamb is served with mince and 4 boiled eggs. Worth a return visit.

Great food & service...Good-sized portions, very tasty too! Decor a bit too modern & clinical for my taste..needs 'softening up' a bit...

An easy way to judge how good an Indian restaurant is to see how busy it is in a town where Indian restaurants are plenty. Tufail is a fairly large restaurant and each seat was full on a Friday night which didn't cause any strain on the kitchen as dishes were flying their way around the place and landing on tables with rehearsed efficiency. Each dish we had was tasty and plentiful - great value for money. Best in town? Quite possibly.

Delicious. From start to finish, the hospitality is superb. The food is some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve eaten in the last year. I feel like my starter may have been microwaved and not cooked fresh, hence the 4, tasty none the less. However the main was simply delicious and just what I asked for. Reasonable prices for lovely food and a very friendly service. Would definitely go again and recommend!

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. However, seemed like they were slightly understaffed. Had waits for mains and then had to wait for rice to be served. Price wise, was pretty standard. But fair for the quality of the food.

Visited Last night and wasn’t disappointed. The food was outstanding and the best Indian I’ve had for a very long time.. The vegetarian Dhansak was perfect, as was the rest of my meal. The manager, (possibly owner) was welcoming and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. I wish I lived nearer but would definitely do the 1hr plus drive to eat here again 😀

Excellent restaurant!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant! We booked a table last night to meet friends. Delighted by our choice! The restaurant was very clean and tables very well dressed for diners. This immediately gave a good impression. The staff were also well dressed, very professional, courteous and sympathetic to customer needs. The food was delicious and all main course dishes were served on individual burners to keep them warm, which I have not seen before and a very nice touch. This was a lovely evening helped by the ambience in the restaurant and excellent food. Well done staff at Tufail!!

I called the restaurant on Friday night to book for Saturday, they said it was really busy, but still managed to squeeze me in for a table of two at 8:30, which is perfect as I wouldn't be home from work until around 7pm. When we arrived, one of the waiters held the door open, and we were greeted by great staff and the atmosphere was buzzing. We were seated promptly and our drinks were taken quickly. Shortly afterwards our drinks came and the waiter also took our order. While we waited we enjoyed complimentary poppadoms and selection of dips. What seemed like only a short while later the starters came out and they looked and tasted fantastic. I had onion bhaji and my partner had prawn on puree as recommended by the chap Tufail who took our order. You can tell the food was all homemade and tasted delicious. This was the same for the mains. Throughout the meal the staff were very attentive even though the restaurant was very busy, nothing seemed too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend and I would defiantly be back!
