Nice starters, for main I would like my pasta cook a bit longer, the dessert was super!!! Love it. 5 stars service, the staff always there, never rush or push will definitely go back again.
Absolutely delicious food. We had the seafood vongole soup and scallops with bacon and cream to start, followed by the cod in tomato sauce with capers, and cod with egg, both were absolutely delicious, best Italian food I've had in ages. If you like good food, you can't go wrong. Decor could do with a refresh, but I was 100% wooed by the food.
Delightful local Italian restaurant. We were there for a leaving do. Friendly service and delicious food. The fritto misto was a real treat!! Enjoy!!
Very nice little gem, feels like in proper Italy with very nice and friendly italian owners. Food nice highly recommended.
Fresh produce and friendly. GVFM
So we were looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, with our two kids. My wife is a lover of seafood so found really positive reviews for The Boys Italian Seafood Restaurant.
It's hidden away down Queen Street in Gravesend - a quiet area of the town close to parking.
OMG - this is heaven if you, like my missus, love all foods that come out of an ocean or river.
What can I say. Great food (couldn't fault anything at all), very good service, very friendly family run business, reasonably priced too.
They specifically made a fresh pizza for our three year old son (it was delicious by the way).
If you, like us, love seafood....or if you want to grab a freshly made true Italian pizza, then I'd recommend The Boys anytime. We're so impressed we will be going back real soon.
We popped in on a Saturday night for dinner. The Boys has an absolutely lovely seafood menu, all freshly cooked and with authentic Italian flavours.
We were so impressed with everything we had to eat, particularly the lobster tails with asparagus and the gnocchi with crayfish. Not only did it taste amazing, but the presentation was beautiful too.
The restaurant was nearly empty, but I can't understand why as it is a great place to eat. If you haven't been and you enjoy seafood you really should give it a try.
My only complaint is the toilet, the folding door has a gap down the middle when closed, which anyone passing could peek through. As a female you feel very exposed and it's nothing a cheap bit of dowel wouldn't fix. Please fix it!
It was my first time and I enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I certainly will go back. The food was good and I was comparing with my recent experience with Whitstable and I thought this was as good if not better. I need to see what else they do. Still very good.
Visited the restaurant a few times previously. Celebrated my engagement here in March. I cannot praise the food and service enough. From starters to mains everything was excellent. On top of this they also surprised me with a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Gravesend and all should visit. Thank you!
As always the food is superb. Well cooked and well presented. The standard of service is exemplary. It is friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very convivial indeed. I really enjoyed lunching there. It is a place that deserves to be packed every day.
