Arguably the best cafe in Grasmere. The owners are always very warm and welcoming, and excellent customer service comes as standard. A good reasonably priced menu full of delicious food and drinks. Very good range of food - both vegetarian, vegan and omnivore.
Food is well presented. Cafe is small and staff are friendly and efficient. Outdoor seating is available. Wheelchair access is easy.

We were welcomed in at 3.30 pm on a rainy April day, when all the other cafes and restaurants in Grasmere had turned us away or closed their doors. We were soaking as were our dogs but Greens turned out to be a haven for the tired walker, looking for wholesome nourishment.

We ordered lamb curry flatbead with additional vegetable soup as part of the meal and an open sandwich - Rarebit with Attitude.

Wonderful cafe serving excellent lunch options with a lovely shaded patio. Lovely clean tidy place, the child's picnic platter was amazing. As we're the cheese scones with cheese and chutney. Food was great, well presented, tasty with prompt service. Prices reasonable too.
