The Big Blue - Grappenhall - Photo album

Passed this chippy and randomly decided to try it. Busy with what seemed to be regular customers , the fish fryer was very organised taking orders and very polite in directing our order and all ppe was being used . The food was outstanding especially the fish , lightly battered and the fish just fel
Great quality fish and chips but sometimes the portions are a little smaller than other times
Had a lovely rag rolled pudding, gravy and chips and it was really good. I must admit not the cheapest about but if you want something that's worth eating then you have to pay a bit extra for it. Service is friendly and efficient. No complaints from me and will use again.
The best gluten free fish and chips I’ve ever found! Staff are very efficient and friendly.
1st time here had a large order and the young lad did amazing. Food was delicious 😋
Chippy new to us just thought, give it a try not Disappointed good portions I had rag roll pudding lots of meat in it. My Husband had Steak and Ale pie also lots of filling. Chips were nicely done very happy with our new find we will definitely be back.x
Pricey but delicious. Since Papa's change ownership and it's policies and went down in taste, size and up in prices -this is the best chippy in Warrington area
Great little chippy! Visited while passing through the area, and very glad we did. The chips were good, and the fish was awesome. The whole time we were eating, a constant stream of customers appeared, and it's obviously a local institution. I especially appreciated the efficiency of the boss aski
Great fish and chips as always. Friendly staff and not too much of a wait. Very good all round. 👍👍👍
Best chippy I've ever had 10/10. If you're ever passing through the area and feeling hungry you will not be disappointed. The chips are beautiful and the fish is not greasy but fresh and delicious 😋
Amazing fish and chips and they do gluten free which is superb
Recently tried this place for the first time after my local chippy closed unexpectedly, and was pleasantly surprised. The fish batter was light and tasty, everything freshly cooked, mushy peas and curry sauce tasty with generous portions. Will definitely be going back for more.
All the fish is cooked, fresh, to order; the chips are really dry and not greasy. A little more expensive than others but the quality and freshness is well worth it. Easy to understand why they have so many award certificates on display.
Nice food served fairly quickly. Only had fish, chips and Irish curry but huge portions so 1 to share would do 2. Wouldn't let me do telephone order unless over £25 so that's why it's 4🌟
