Genuinely surprised by this Cafe. Only stopped to find some toilets and was taken aback by how lovely this place was and how good the food looked.

A Little gem tucked away beside the more scenic part of the A1. Great food and service. Beef curry is a must! Will definitely be back (not sure when as I live in South Devon!) 🤣. Beats any roadside restaurant I've ever visited. 5 stars!

Excellent place for a stop off on the A1 Southbound from Scotland. Lovely little place. Spotlessly clean, swift service and a tremendous selection of hot meals and lovely homemade cakes and pies.

Very nice remote little cafe offering delicious coffee and scones. They do have more items on the menu however that is what we got. Would definitely visit again when in the area!

We chanced upon this hidden gem on our way to York on the A1. The ambience was warm and homely and the food left me speechless to say the least. Real home style, cooked with a lot of love and perfectly seasoned. This is what travel let's you find and experience. A very BIG Thank You to the Cedar Cafe team!! You made our day!!!

We have been there twice, it was our firts stop in the UK. Great and tasty soup 🙂 and friendly staff, quick service. So we stopped there again in our way home to Germany. And if we could we would come over for dinner 🙂👍

Nice place to stop. It’s hot today (heat wave currently). I just had an ice coffee, the chicken sweet corn soup, and apple pie with ice cream. There is outdoor seating (some in the shade) 👍🏼 (Only 4 stars because not much sweet corn or chicken in the soup).

Stop past every year on the way back from holiday for breakfast. This year I had lunch on the way as well very good food the chilli rice and chips was excellent. They also have an area for dogs with tables either outside or in a small 4 table heated shed.

A really great rest stop when travelling! We were just popping in to try and find a loo and ended up having some of their home bakes and hot drinks, everything was amazing!
