Nice place with laid back staff. All the food was tasty and seasoned. Guest beer was tasty and the soup was very nice. Great stuff I would pop back in for a gobble if I was back in the area. Cheers.
Had pleasant meal. Husband said the seafood linguine was very good. The sticky toffee pudding and lemon mousse were really nice. The ladies were very friendly.
3 of us turned up without a reservation but luckily we got squeezed in. Varied dishes of chowder for a starter and langoustines, Crab de Mornay and fillet steak for mains - no room for dessert! Food was delicious and good value for money - a lovely treat! Staff were welcoming and friendly too.
Absolutely fantastic, staff, atmosphere, menu, food all awesome! I have never had such a beautiful meal for a long long time!! Pity we don't stay here or i'd definitely be a regular!
Excellent food and service a very memorable evening thank you.
We came here for dinner and had the Rump of Highland beef and the Seafood tagliatelli. The Highland beef was especially good. Definitely a solid place.
We went here for lunch, because the golf club in Grantown was doing no catering that day. Serendipity! I see that several reviewers have mentioned the seafood tagliatelle- no one is overstating how good this is, the best I have ever tasted Bar none. It is fantastic. The ambience on arrival is a bit
A wee gem of a place. So welcoming staff and lovely decor. It was probably the best seafood tagliatelle I have every tasted and I’ve had a few. It was packed full with seafood and delicious. The seafood chowder starter was the same. The homemade chicken had a massive proportion of chicken and tasted
Had best lunch ever today, I'm a mobility scooter user and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure I was comfortable. Seafood chowder was even better than I'd hoped, Thai crab cakes were the best ever tasted! Lovely day in Grantown, this bistro is a gem, go discover it but leave room for me!
I’ve long held the belief that the best Seafood Chowder is to be had in San Francisco, but now believe that this is no longer the case, the Chowder was the nicest I’ve tasted. The slow braised beef was a joy, as was the chocolate Ganache. Great food, great wine, excellent service, wonderful atmosp
A little bit overpriced and food average but the dessert minty mayhem was amazing
Another excellent meal thank you Stuart and Suzanne and staff.
A great local restaurant, offering excellent fare and attracting a full house on the night we went. Perhaps not unusual in holiday season, but the assured, quality cooking and the interesting combinations of ingredients would also have been enough to explain why they were, literally, turning them a
We booked tables for 6 adults and 4 children aged 11 to 13. The menu was explained to the children and they all ordered the curry They brought out a sample of the curry for them to taste to ensure that they all liked it. We all enjoyed our meals and were made to feel welcome. Would go back again if
