Found this place on a dog friendly website for a mid way stop. I wasn't expecting a great deal, but the place was busy, friendly and very good value for good quality pub grub. Our 2 dogs were very settled there. Incredibly good value, wall to wall football if you like that sort of thing. All in all, very good.

Great place to come out to on the weekend and week too. Always a mixed aged of people in the pub in the weekends. Reasonable prices drinks too �

Went to check out the newly refurbished black dog tonight and it's 1000% better. Done a great job and love the choice of gins had one and it was yummy and was nicely presented. Will defiantly be going back more now.

Just popped in on a rare trip to town. Beer very very reasonable price. Was a bit dubious about an 8oz steak for £6.50. It came very well presented and cooked exactly as requested. In all extremely good value tasty food. We will be back.
Brilliant pub, definitely the best place in Grantham, the staff are very welcoming and I always feel safe in the pub, lovely atmosphere too.

The black dog is very reasonably priced with excellent food. My husband and I both got burgers and enjoyed them.
