Great food and the Vegan menu ever grows ✌️
It was good but they don't have mayonnaise or pink gin!
Staff were great but the food wasn't the best. The chocolate cake wasn't very moist. My pizza was good but not the best I've ever had. It left me not feeling satisfied with what I had just eaten. Overall though it was served hot and was clearly freshly made and it was certainly great service.
Had an early evening pizza with the family. Wasn't busy, so no wait for a table. Service was good, pizza's were really nice.
We were able to pay with Tesco vouchers, which makes it really good value. Only had to pay for the drinks. 🙂
Friendly and prompt service, our food arrived quickly and I was surprised by just how good the pizza was!
We both had the vegan Giardiniera and the artichoke topping was especially delicious. Pizza Express are always good with allergies/intolerances and this branch is no exception.
It is nice to see that they have retained the structure and features of this historic building.
Overall a good visit and a pleasant surprise.

Caters for all types of allergies and food choices. Great for kids or a romantic meal. From the meatiest pizza to a vegan pizza or gluten free pizza. Also has a good verity of salads and pasta.

Went for a birthday with my son. Food was excellent, but it was busy and could have more tables. Waiting staff were very kind and helpful.
It's a very nice venue, the pizza is decent and the Romana Rustichella is the best! The waitresses there are really, really nice and I'd say the restaurant has a great asset in them. Dealing with them certainly adds to wanting to go back. The service time has always been reasonable, even when they've been more busy. I'd take Pizza Express over Pizza Hut (bleargh), Domino's and any other chain any day - they're the only ones that actually make something that I can say resembles actual Italian pizza, even though the toppings are tweaked to cater to English tastes.
Se siete italiani, base romana, che è quella fine. Le altre catene non reggono il confronto.
(If you're Italian, go for the Romana base, the thin one. The ohter chains simply don't compare.)
Always a fantastic restaurant for the family to eat at. We have just finished a lovely 3 course meal and served by Georgia at Grantham. 10 out of 10.😊👍
