Beautiful pub, great food and really good value. Came with the dog who was welcomed with a bowl of water and teenage boys who devoured their meals. Service was a bit slow as we did have to wait quite a while for the food. But overall very good.
What a lovely place, clearly the new manager is working hard to make this a nice dog friendly place. We were welcomed from the phone call, I made to check we could drop in for food with a dog to the moment we left. Several dogs, and also space for those wanting not to sit with our 4-pawed friend.

Prolly my third time there over the last five years.
I tend to try something new each time, avoiding the Sunday dinner.
A bit dated inside but the conservatory dining room is newer and provides a more comfortable seating.
Staff have always been friendly and I look forward to future meals with family
Good parking. Food OK but lacked seasoning, vegetables were soggy as if they were frozen not fresh. Chicken overcooked. My husband had jumbo fish and chips he was extremely happy with them. Service was good and staff friendly.
We like all the staff there. Always friendly, polite and helpful.
Colin, the new manager seems to be settling in nicely.
We enjoy the atmosphere there too... I think that happy staff shows in how they treat their customers.

Excellent food & plenty of it. Very reasonably priced. Had our 2 dogs with us& they were very welcome. Brought water out for them straight away. Certainly recommendation
Really friendly staff made even better by being dog friendly too!! Nina and Becks were especially lovely, attentive and obviously love dogs, which made our visit even better!

Meals were very nice and tasty, unfortunately one of the meals did not match up to expectations and was not as described on the menu, however apart from the wilted and brown leafy lettuce it was on the whole
We had my 60th birthday yesterday in the conservatory with silver buffet it was brilliant was seen by Sue when we arrived to decorate a little before guest came. When we were ready for food to start they were on promptly even accommodating extras thank team great memories made. Thank you Nina setti

This pub is ideal for families, very friendly owners and staff. Didn’t mind my 3yrs grandson running around. The food was reasonably priced and tasty.
Aiden met us with such warmth and kindness and set the tone for our whole experience. This is the best Sunday lunch in this area and we will be back.
Cannot fault food even though the order was wrong and took an hour the manager rectified and gave us a large bowl of scampi.
Staff were very friendly however very slow apparently they were short staffed and a lovely girl was in training.
