Absolutely LOVE this place! We have been twice in the last month and booked to go again in the next few weeks. Definitely our new favourite. Such a good atmosphere and the food is INCREDIBLE! We have tried a few things off the menu now and have enjoyed every last bite. Can’t wait to try more! Starters, mains and desserts are AMAZING! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and for the quality of the food the price is very reasonable. 100% recommend this place for any occasion you won’t be disappointed!
At first glance this quaint place can seem a little unassuming from across the street, but upon entering you're met with an inviting atmosphere with continent transporting decor, making you forget where you are once the door is closed behind you.
Our time here was a delight, having been our first authentic Italian restaurant, we were unsure how we'd find it but by the end we were more than satisfied.
The service was brilliant, having been looked after very well by the magnetic owner and her lovely staff, the food was rich and presented well alongside some very fitting music to complete the experience. We will return.
We've been to many restaurants, we know a good one when we see it. The food, the service, the experiance - here they all exceeded expectations. Simply one of the best neighbourhood restaurants I have been to in a very long time.
Check out my reviews - its not often I leave a review so glowing, but this restaurant, although not as glitzy as some in my other reviews is one of my favourites in the last 5 years.
Food is authentic and tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced.

I went in with little to no expectations and the food completely blew me away.
The food looks fairly simple and you'd think it's probably going to taste plain/simple too but it was delicious!

Small family run Italian. Superb selection of food and drinks.
Highly recommended. We were 2 couples and all had different starters, mains with sides and desserts. Greeted with a complimentary drink as our table wasn't quite ready, started the evening off perfectly. Couldn't fault a thing. The Lemonchello finished the evening off perfectly. The lobster was stunning ♡
Seven of us ate a fantastic meal last week, all our meals and we all had something different, from pizza, fish and steaks were cooked to perfection,portions were good, service and attention to detail were excellent. We would definitely recommend Piccolo Venezia, make sure you pre book a table as it's a busy little restaurant and you would not want to be disappointed by not getting seated.
Great place, very cosy the food was very good and the tiramisu out of this world.
