Kayaking down the Cam from the City, you are able to pull your boats out the river, and viva a short walk, are able to drop the kayaks outside the pub and enter for some grub and drinks. There is a large car park just outside we placed the boats and sat in the window with the light streaming throug
I have been there just for drinks reason I cannot give a rate for food. Very nice place where you feel good, we could have stayed hours there just talking and drinking. I would say it's a traditional English atmosphere. I recommend.
Here’s what you need to know: it was absolutely charming ambiance (we sat in the garden) and the food was very tasty English pub fare. The service was pleasant enough, albeit there was quite a bit of self service involved (which is typical of English short staffing since Brexit). Absolutely Loved t
We had a wonderful Sunday Roast at Red Lion. We sat in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine and ciders. I was so happy to have their Vegan Wellington. It was so delicious and felt so great to be part of the meal. I’m actually vegetarian, so I also ordered the stickey toffee pudding with clotted cream
What a fantastic place. Good food. Decent prices and good quality. Service was great. The place has not only a rustic look but also a nice vibe. A nice warm indoor space and a delightful outdoor garden. Visit and enjoy.
Amazing service from Peter! Food was absolutely delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves…..would have ordered dessert, but no one had any stomach room left 😳

Great place for an outdoor meal, especially if you come midweek and it isn't too busy. New menu includes a crab burger, with crab meat battered and fried to look like legs. Delicious!
Nice place. Good for stop over. Seemed to be short of staff when I visited and had only 1 choice of draft beer. Food was good and generally staff were nice.
Nice range of drink choices. Cozy atmosphere. Haven't eaten there but have been told the food is good. Was charged £100 for stopping for a half pint but this has been dealt with by the pub.
