Excellent all round. Went in for a quick beer, stayed a few hours. Best garden seats are the wicker chairs under the monkey puzzle tree! Great views & dappled shade. Lovely food & reasonable prices for bottled beers. Highly recommended.
Love this little gem. A family-run small hotel with old fashioned service, modern stylish decor and food that is in a class of it's own. Situated in the small southern Lake District town of Grange-over-Sands, the views over Morecombe Bay are stunning. The gardens are beautiful and there's plenty to
A very executive restaurant with a high class menu. Delicious!! Sea bream was excellent! Tasty, potatoes 👌. My family ate lamb- soft, not dry also fantastic. Entrèe: salad with fruits with good note. Terrine something our son ordered is also very good, especially the half egg, soft & yolk melted i
My partner and I had an evening meal to celebrate his birthday.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. We couldn't fault it. The rib eye steak was full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. Our starters and desserts were also faultless.
The service was perfect, as we were
Stopped for an impromptu lunch and so glad we did. Our table was outside overlooking the beautiful garden and sea. Service was excellent (they even brought water and biscuits for our dogs!). Food was delicious. Will definitely return.
We visited as non-residents for an afternoon tea, and it was one of the best afternoon teas we’ve ever had. Very good service in a lovely setting, and the food was outstanding!
A really nice hotel, superb food, exsquisite location and setting, but nearly double the cost of comparable hotels. A rare treat.
A lovely 2 night break to celebrate my sister's birthday. A friendly, relaxed hotel set in beautiful garden & a stones throw from the brilliant Grange promenade. We enjoyed delicious food which was well presented & flavoursome. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay which was fantastic to wake
Went for dinner. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Very traditional décor.
Stayed for 4 nights. We have stayed here previously. Wonderful food a lovely welcome and most importantly at the present moment we felt safe. The tables are well spaced and all staff follow Covid regulations. This is a little gem the views are wonderful from the hotel and it is perfectly placed for
Stopped here on our walk through the town of Grange and Gardens for a nice refreshing cup of tea, which came with a nice shortbread biscuit. Big pot of tea & extra hot water if needed. We sat outside overlooking the beautiful garden and views of the sea and Bay. We enjoyed it very much... a lovely h
I've only visited for coffee but it's probably one of the nicer places in the area for this. Par for the course pricing (on drinks), great staff, parking available, great views from the immaculately kept garden.
Popped in for lunch as a non resident. Very accommodating. Lunch Menu: Sandwich and Soup Tea Coffee with GF bread option. Very tasty and well presented. Good value for money.
We only went for afternoon tea but what a lovely comfortable hotel,
lovely edwardian splendour. Lovely views from most rooms, comfortable chairs, very relaxed atmosphere, nothing too much trouble, lovely to be greeted as we came in and asked which lounge seating we would like.
Afternoon tea delicio
Excellent place for a break. Good location for town and sea front. Nice room with balcony looking out over Morecambe Bay.
Terrific food and exceptional service.
Pricey but definitely recommend.
Currently closed due to the pandemic, but offering outdoor lunches and afternoon teas. Arriving at 4.00, we had missed all but the orange cake, which was just about the best ever, chock full of flavour and as moist as could be.
Worth a journey just for that.
Well run hotel, with very comfortable rooms, some with sea views. Breakfast choice is excellent and well executed, good choices for brunch (good outdoor terrace for the sunshine), dinner menu offers good options and cooked well (as rosette for food). Wine list is good, too, and well priced.
Family run hotel with Edwardian charm in the pleasant surroundings of Grange. My room was very clean and had tea making facilities, en suite and comfortable bed. The food is excellent probably one of the top 50 hotels in England
Had a catch up with my friend, we had sandwiches with coleslaw and crisps and pot of tea for 2 .Always lovely whenever we go.
