Came for tea as we couldn't find anywhere else we wanted while on holiday, we thought it was going to be general pub grub, but after the food came out (pizza and chicken burger) we were surprised how good the food was! We could see there was refurb going on and didn't effect our tea out. If we're ever around the area again, we'll be back for more!

Had a meal here and the food is absolutely amazing. Staff were the best, he managed the bar and service for the restaurant brilliantly. Highly recommend this place.

I had the most delightful experience at The Commodore Inn in Grange over Sands. I ordered the ham and mustard baguette and veg soup, and they were absolutely delicious! The friendly staff made me feel right at home and the service was quick and efficient. The classic pub atmosphere added to the charm of my visit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back!

Had a lovely stay. Really nice considering how cheap I got the rooms for. Only reason I've dropped a star is due to the poor pub worker who was running around on his own for at least an hour. He was literally doing everything. Despite him quite literally running around, he was very polite and seemed happy to help even though he was probably stressed and exhausted. The management need to do better with shift roaters, or at least give the man some recognition. This happened on February 12th at around 6:30pm.

Visited Grange-over-sands on Easter Sunday and googled best Sunday lunch in the area. The Commodore Inn was first on the list and it turned out to be the best Sunday lunch I've ever had. Would definitely recommend it!

Went here quite a while back, and definitely want to go back! The restaurant upstairs served a stunning Lamb Shank, probably the best lamb I've ever eaten, and what a stunning place it is.

Stayed here many times over a few years for the fantastic peaceful views, amazing plentiful meals whatever I order to eat and clean rooms. Comfortable bed and bedding. Staff eager to help and usually pleasant ( especially the staff who have worked at the Commodore for a while) . New staff members not as pleasant but still efficient. Have already booked again! Totally recommended.

We had a wonderful meal for 6 of us. 4 adults, 2 children. We had starters, lovely. Mains, fantastic. Dessert for 3, coffee for 1 and a few wines by the adults. Lovely. The staff were great, friendly and attentive, but not overly. A great night.
