What an amazing cafe! Coffee and food was amazing, I had the pulled pork and jumbo prawns on sourdough bread which was delicious. Susan served our food who was a delight, very friendly and welcoming

Really pleasant, clean cafe. Carrot cake, lemon meringue pie and flap Jack were tasty. Good sized portion. Tea and coffee were of a good standard. Menu had a good selection of sandwiches also. Well worth a visit.

Great coffee, good breakfast that isn't the normal fried offerings, never tried the cakes as I'm on a diet but there was a few that caught my attention as they all looked home baked. A little tight for space but it was comfortable enough and the staff were very friendly. Definitely going back for the eggs benidict

Great place, comfy seats, great coffee. Lots to choose from I love the almond pastry. Had a wonderful overloaded sandwich recently. Its not cheap but it is good value. Mind to get a clock if your parking out side.

Very nice soup of the day. Excellent burgers; we tried both that were on the menu. Great chicken Cesar salad and superb smoothies and all at a really good price point! Nice atmosphere too so it’s a must visit in my opinion

A cosy little cafe right on the high street. Had a nice coffee, hot almond milk and food. Gluten free brownie was good I hear, would have been nice if the Scotch pie was oven heated rather than microwaved. Fabulously friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Sitting here, home made soup & ciabatta bread slice with butter, frothy coffee, and my son's tucking into a beautiful ice Dream Sundae after his home made Pie Scotch!!! Heaven. Very good prices. Clean. Great staff.

Really delicious fresh from the oven almond croissants do die for and excellent hot chocolate - dark chocolate, not too sickly sweet, absolutely scrumptious start to the day. Nowhere nearby can compete for a breakfast treat.

THIS ONE IS HARD TO BEAT. I live on this street and we have lots of great places to eat, drink or have a speciality coffee. Bake House is now my favourite for lots of reasons including friendly helpful staff. THE BAKERY: First the artisan bread selection is better than any local bakery. Their Jalapeño and onion is fabulous and sourdough superb. COFFEE SHOP: The small seating area is pretty if a little squashed. They sell my favourite ILLY coffee plus a selection of nice teas and great pastries, sandwiches etc with unusual fillings and unusual specialty soups. MENU: they open all day for breakfast, lunch and early dinner for both eat in or takeaway. Check out their daily specials and combos. MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE ITEM SO FAR IS. Their version of Eegs Benedict - one of the best in both presentation and taste. 2 perfectly poached eggs carefully balanced on top of 2 juxtaposed slices if sourdough, with 2 slices of nice bacon and a generous portion of hollandaise sauce. There are so many great menu items still to try we will return to try out the early evening menu where you can bring your own bottle of wine for a small corkage. CONCLUSION: Gourock is spoiled for choice with many nice eateries but thisu one will be hard to beat for it's innovative menu, presentation, service but above all - TASTE - and it is priced right too. We love it.
