Lovely lunch at The Café - husband had a delicious risotto (which I'm having next time - it was gorgeous - lots of chicken) and I had the beef burger which was moist & juicy. Only comment - could have done with a wee salad to finish off the plate with the beefburger, it came with small handful of fries & small tub of coleslaw but pate still looked a bit bare - was really lovely though - caramelised onions on top - yum! Will def be back.
I worked there as a young teenager, loved it then and still love it .. beautiful place with the very best view .. food is good and atmosphere is great ..
Enjoyed a delicious meal served by friendly, efficient staff while celebrating a niece's special birthday with family in this beautiful environment with stunning views. Will definitely recommend and be back soon.

As always, warming received, very attentive and the Scallops for starter were superb followed by Malay Beef Salad which never disappoints....gotta luv the Cafe and their amazing staff...ta everyone 🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this 1899's Café. I visited here on a weekend and they were out of space 😅 but waited only 10min to get a seat... So, you can imagine how much people (of all age) love to hangout here ✨ Loved the ambience. Great service 💕 Really good (large) portion of food served for the price 🙃
Only thing is.... a bit too much waiting time for food once you place your order.. so make sure you have a company with you when you come here... or if you're coming alone... bring a book or kindle for casual yet enjoyable time pass 🥂
Superb location. It was a beautiful evening with an amazing sunset. Beer is cold, staff are attentive. The food is good and good value in these challenging times. Has the nachos to start and share. Mains were the Katsura curry and the burger. Everyone was happy. A lovely evening.
Great cafe! Have gone here for years and it’s never changed. Great food, attentive staff and a nice atmosphere. Keep up the good work Cafe Continental! Also good gf options on the menu, just need to ask staff about them and they’re very helpful. I had the gluten free ‘bagel’ (I just asked for gf bread) and it was outstanding. So tasty! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A best restaurant & pub in town! This restaurant has a stunning ocean view. Foods are good. I’ve had pasta, fish and chips, sandwiches and a waffle before and they are all lovely. Most importantly, staffs are fantastic. All really friendly and lovely.
This restaurant us usually busy so recommend you to make a reservation before!

I've had tried many different steak pie 🥧 and i prefer my steak pie pastry separate put it on top, not the meats enclosed in the pastry shell. I know it's not traditional!
But i just enjoy the ways i like,
Many places are make it different, some places make it a bit too salty 🧂 Some place make a wee bit bland taste and too dried.
Been here yesterday for a wee trip and pop in here by accidentally, had steak pie for my lunch 🥧 and that is super tasty steak pie i never have before.
The beef was very tender. The season of vegs is lovely the gravy sauce super perfect and yummy 😋
The price is great value
The service was professional and polite

The site are stunning views of the sea 🌊
The toilets it the same floor no need to walk go down or go upstairs.
Definitely will be back and recommend this place 💜😋

We went there because it was the first eatery we happened to chance by. Great decor, good prices and tasty food. Service was swift despite being busy. Brilliant view of the water the hills. We'll worth a visit if you're in Gourock.
We loved this restaurant, we ate here one evening and the food was delicious. I ordered the fish tacos and they truly were the best fish tacos I have eaten. My husband had a beef curry and it too lovely. The service was exceptional, all the staff very smiling and the atmosphere was just as one would expect when dining out. Highly recommend.
Lovely wine bar in Gourock with a great atmosphere. Disappointed that they did not have Sauvignon Blanc (they cited delivery issues). We were served by a lovely waitress called Emma who was just fantastic. She really took care of us and gave us a high standard of service. Beautiful views over the river from the seats at the back.
This place is always lovely! We come back whenever we have time. The food is delicious and the staff are very lovely x
Good food well priced not stingy on the plating. Staff are so lovely and very attentive even if it's busy. Food served promptly.
Only bad point is the tables they could do with a revamp most are shaky/unstable which is a shame.

We picked this place randomly, while passing through Gourock and it was a good choice. Their beef burger is just amazing. The chips are perfectly crispy. Staff is fantastic, helpful. Highly recommended if you are in the area!!
I frequent the cafe continental for coffee catch ups and lunch or dinner on occasion, staffs very helpful and accommodating, foods good and the atmosphere is usually just right. It's also dog friendly, I'd advise on booking a table to avoid disappointment at busy times.

Came home to Greenock and was introduced to this wonderful restaurant and pub. The weather was perfect so looking out on our beautiful Clyde river and over at the Gareloch and Holy Loch was a thing of wondrous beauty. The mussels were the special of the day and the word special does not do them Justice. They were superb. The waiter was great , didn’t get his name . And the beer selection is stellar. I shall return. Thanks to the chef for the amazing food.
