Since moving into the area recently I have tried almost all the chippys around, King Fish is by far the best in Gosport. Food is always freshly cooked, portion sizes are very good and the staff is always friendly. This is now my go to chip shop. Often a little busy and you have to wait a while, but it is worth it.

Absolutely the friendliest staff I have come across at a fish and chip shop. Always cheerful and polite even at the busiest times.
They provide great value for money and the food tastes excellent. The chips are decent size with less 'shreds' like other places.

Consistently great food from here. The chip portion size is massive. We got a large and small portion of chips and they were more than enough for a family of four. One large portion would probably have been enough. Good prices as well.
The chippy was amazing and the fish as well, but the fact that they dont take card payments its a let down 🥲 i know they can do better than the cash payment only...all in all i love this place
We had pie and chips today and the chips were freshly cooked. They were light and fluffy best chips ive had in a long time. Have had fish previously and its always freshly cooked and very nice

Best cod and chips ever. Always consistent and delicious, I can't praise the food enough. The staff are always friendly and efficient. There is seating while you wait and room to stand. Free parking but can fill at times.
Awesome fish and chips, burgers are good too! Clean, friendly staff and big portions. Seated waiting area with TV is nice too
