My wife and I enjoyed another great meal here. Once again on our anniversary of meeting. The place looks much more fresh and inviting after its recent refurbishment. We've never had a bad meal here, but, my wife especially felt that the food has definitely improved since our last visit. Would certainly recommend to anyone that wants a great meal at a great price to visit here!
My family and I had booked a table of 7 for 1pm today for a lunch as I am in town on holiday. We come here quite alot. But today, was hands down the best we have ever had. The service was warm, friendly and faster than it used to be. The food was out of this world good, the ONLY downside to today was the lack of fish, but this could have been as a lack of delivery (As a chef I know how it is). I've been to many posh and expensive restaurants, but no where has ever served me a steak as juicy, tender or delicious as the one I had today. It was honestly the best steak I have ever had. I am very much looking to return and enjoy the atmosphere again next time I am in the area.

Booked a table for ten, all had great hot meals and brought out together, staff really helpful and polite checking all is ok with our meals, which all came rather quickly considering how busy the pub was �will be definitely taking my enlarged family back again ���
Yesterday evening was spent with my hubby,first time since the revamp.And I ate everything even my peas which never happens,hubby loved his meal too.The service was good and staff members were really polite
We use to be regulars every weekend and due to commitments we don’t go as often as we’d like but we popped in for a family meal Sunday night. The food was piping hot and cooked to perfection. Probably the best chicken/beef burger combo Iv ever had. Service was great and staff always happy. Looking forward to another burger from there soon lol.
We had a sumptuous Dinner and a couple of drinks. This pub has spacious parking and lots of seating outdoors.. loved it.. we’ll definitely be back here soon… highly recommended..
Went for lunch this afternoon here - it was absolutely delicious! I had Gammon, Egg and Chips on a skillet and it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place!
Claire and her team were first class, the food was fantastic, I had the Low and Slow beef which was something special, a great evening was had buy all.
Reasonably priced, lovely food. Note this is not a fast food place. They have an app for ordering from your table, though we found it easier to order at the bar. We had a few special requests that the app didn't cover. It's a sporty bar so may be busy when there are big matches playing.
Service was superb, choice fantastic and food perfectly cooked, hot and fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our dietary needs as one of our party had medical issues. Would definitely come again ❤️👍

Had a lovely evening. Food was extremely reasonably priced, good portions and lovely quality. Drinks are also very reasonably priced (especially 2 4 1 cocktails). Pub itself is welcoming, clean and has a large tv for sports fans

Fantastic food and drink. Jamie was great accommodating my love of spicy food - asked for the boneless wings done extra spicy and they were great but when I asked for another portion done even hotter they absolutely hit the spot - pure lava with the Tabasco Scorpion Sauce. Not many places are so pleasant to visit and so accommodating with the menu. Also…. Giant 2 pint glasses of Guinness! Thank you!
The place itself is a bit tired and needs a bit of TLC.

Booked a table for a birthday meal, at the last minute I had to add more people onto our booking a quick email & it was adjusted immediately, the service was great, from the bar staff to the servers, our food all came out together all the food was lovely, hot & well presented, desserts were delicious, we will defiantly go again
The venue is really a sports bar but they serve great food at a very reasonable price. It can get noisy but everyone is friendly. They also very welcoming to my dog
Fantastic good, menu was unlike anything else in Gosport and really loved the pick and mix selection of dishes. Service was quick and staff attentive. No problems getting a table and being served at the bar.
Very happy with the service, the staff are excellent and the quality of the food will be hard to beat, the sweet was so yummy. Although I live 35 miles away I'm definitely going back 👍😃

This place has really turned round their previous bad reputation.
Service was quick, food was well presented and plentiful. Good prices for evening meal. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff
