This chippy has gone downhill! I don’t normally post negative reviews. Ordered food as a Friday night treat at 1820 and finally arrived at 2020 after 2 phone calls chasing the order. Will be worth the wait we thought, it’s normally good, how wrong could we be! Food was very oily and very overpric
Lovely food and helpful staff , a few issues ordering online but all sorted with a phone call. Friendly delivery driver delivered food quickly and efficiently, Definitely be using regularly.

Scott's Plaice is a traditional Fish and Chip shop that really delivers on quality and price. The fish, sausages etc are really good quality, the batter is super crispy and the chips are to die for. Service is always super friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I don't live in Gosport
I found this gem of a fish and chip shop a few months ago. The food is always tasty and well cooked with good portion sizes. I usually have a delivery and she is always friendly and on time. Highly recommend.

Place has really gone downhill, it used to be hands down the best for miles around, but last few orders have been increasingly getting worse, the cod on my last order was atrocious and so overcooked the fish inside had dried up and was inedible, the plaice wasn't much better. There are now better
I have had many a fish and chip night from various place but Scott's I must say out does them all. the food when delivered is hot and nicely packed no diffrent from collecting it
A must if visiting Gosport or fareham you wont be disappointed

Had to wait for quite a while because they were doing orders for take away first, some other chippes employ some one else so that they can do both.
