Love how accessible Greggs is in every way. It is handicap accessible and also relatively affordable. Afterall, I like to share space with all of my lovely neighbors, not just a subset of them.
Love the omelette sandwich, pleasant staff and great coffee.
Clean shop, freidly staff, they recognise faces and orders. Quick service and as all ways good food , love a corned beef pastie, and a vanilla slice, lattes are spot on. They have outside seating when the weather is OK.
Honestly it's amazing how the staff can turn a chain bakery into something really special. I love getting my breakfast and/or lunch here. The ladies and gentlemen behind the counter are always friendly and can have the occasional chat.
My only minute complaint, is that they apparently can't accept tips? Appreciate this is probably a company policy but i'd honestly get rid of that rule - you can't buy the loveliness that this group bring on a morning.
I've been a regular shopper in Greggs for nearing 10 years and over that time my family have had numerous favourites, millionaire short bread, innovative doughnuts, crispy tuna sandwiches, winter warming soup, nice hot drinks, Etc etc. I mainly frequent the Gosforth High Street branch and the one in Kingston Park. I am getting older and I love having a brew and a sarnie on a Saturday with my son sitting in and relaxing...I can even charge my phone!!! I never cease to be amazed by the good quality, great prices and pleasantness of the staff, I like it, it's a great business. Convenient with lots of choice. But for me now, your meat free sausage roll has really blown me away!! What a great product, tasty, not greasy, affordable and a great addition to easy eating on the High Street. Well.done Greggs for keeping up with the times xx
Never been to this Greggs before, found the staff very pleasant and cheerful also helpful, as all Greggs shops food on offer is varied, well presented and displayed. Shop was very busy with a lot of customers but was kept pretty clean and presentable, will call again next time I'm in South Gosforth

I mean it's Gregg's. Miss the chicken bakes and the vegan sausage rolls from before I was gluten free though.
Trainee staff member appeared to be on her first day, hadn't seen a Gregg's card before, but coped, requested extra Bacon on roll, got loads, more than most Gregg's, pleasent serverš:)
Asked for them to make my mocha the old way and did it no problem
More than I can say for the one at Gallowate
6ft brunette in her 40s was very rude spoke down to me through her nose and then when I went to speak to her she looked away with her mouth closed to dismiss me
The rudest member of greggs staff I have ever come across and feel sorry for the little blondle who is smiling and positive
I don't have to go back there as there is more in the city
This poor woman has to work with her every day
Staff are kind and hard working
Just the best pastry to upset any stomach if yiu eat to much but gorgeous if I wasn't so prone to look like a Michelin man would go every day
