Pie Heaven, !!! we were staying nearby, and visited the Bakery on our way home to take back some Gorgeous Bakes from Gosforth Bakery .

What an amazing little bakery. Set inside a house a blink and you'll miss it place is well worth taking the time to visit. Pie, cakes, baps and sandwiches this place is well stocked to help you start your day or to make up a packed lunch for the long hikes ahead!
A wonderful bakery! Bought delicious scones for my family which came with clotted cream and jam, everyone loved them! The people at the shop are also lovely and kind, great to have such a quality bakery so close.
Not open on a Saturday. I checked Google before setting off and was very disappointed when I got there to find them closed. Absolutely love the pies, cakes, and many other items from this bakery!! I guess I'll just have to try again during the week.
Ordered a ham salad box foe lunch which was delivered to my work address, excellent value for money and very tasty!

Locally owned, family business in a lovely village in the beautiful Lake District of England. All produce freshly baked on the premises. Visitor from Cardiff, South Wales here looking for local fare. Found it here in this delightful, must visit village!

It looks like a terraced house from the outside and is tiny inside but is simply the best bakery. It is so popular you are often met with a queue, every workman and even the police stop to get a "Butty" or pie. My son-in-law swears by the sausage rolls. Nothing like the light puff pastry ones on
I found the bakery to be tasty and reasonable compared to others I have visited and the treacle loaf long with the 3 seeded loaf 👌if you want your pie's to look like Mr Kipling's pie's don't go to a rustic bakery
The meat and potato pies are the best I've ever tasted! Infact i can safely say everything is very tasty!
It makes a change to have a cheese and onion pasty that's more cheese than anything else..... Best enjoyed warm and fresh from the oven!
