Really helpful staff, very clean, good food. ++++ they even picked is up from the station.
Only 2 negatives for me, Room 1, smokers smoke under the window so if it's open you join the experience, they should be well away from the building and although the breakfast was not bad only the egg tasted
Booked here for Mother's Day lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and service was quick. The menu offered good choices over the 3 courses. The food was nicely presented and, most importantly, delicious. Would highly recommend it for a meal when open.
Lovely and peaceful hotel in a quiet area of the Lakeland District.
Rooms were comfortable, great shower and extras including hair and body gels, kettle, biscuits, tea and coffee.
Breakfast was delicious, full English, smoked salmon, cereals, toast and fruit on offer.

Rooms decorated to very high standard, comfortable bed and good shower. Food is good quality. Service is pleasant and friendly. WiFi is high speed throughout the hotel.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful with spacious comfortable rooms. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Food is really tasty too.
