I couldn’t fault it. Dined as a party of 8 and there were other large tables in a full restaurant. Many times I have seen this result in poor service in other venues. Not SW1. The staff were attentive and friendly, food arrived hot and at the same time. No long wait between courses.
As for the food, delicious. I had the pan seared fillet of beef to start. It was like butter, really tasty dish and a good size but not too much. For main I had the Norfolk Lamb which similarly was cooked perfectly and was mouth watering to look at. The lamb jus really did make this dish as it was full of flavour to enhance the meat. For those who have LARGE appetites make use of the side dishes but for me the amount left me comfortably full.
Nice range of gin to top off a very enjoyable experience.
Bit apprehensive about the menu as there was nothing that caught my eye but the food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals -
Meats were all tender and well cooked. Good range of starters and dessert too. Little bit pricey but definitely worth the money. Wide range of drinks too. Only down side would be it’s got potential to be a noisy place when fuller as it’s only small. Design and layout was also nice too. Definitely would recommend!
Wish I could give this place 10 star. Enjoyed my first night here but not the last. A welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff, impeccable service and mouth watering food. Highly recommend to all �
Thank you very much SW1, we had a lovely meal here for our 10 year anniversary! The staff were spot on and the food was out of this world, we would both go as far as saying this was the best steak we have ever had! Best steak I've had in a long time. Loved the side of rocket salad with Parmesan. Partner had the pork and would defiantly recommend. Although the chocolate fondue dessert was poor and when we had our second round of bottled beer they were not cold but would still give 5* because the staff were so friendly and excellent main meal. Welcoming atmosphere and would return in the future.
We visited tonight (Friday) on the off-chance without booking and luckily there was a table for two. The staff are lovely and very attentive. The food delicious. I chose the lamb and my husband had the pork and both dishes were fabulous. So nice to have "proper" food on the menu - not just burgers etc. SW1 will now be our go-to restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic night great food fantastic staff. Food was presented to a very high standard there were 6 people in our party and all the food was hot we were served all together no late meal coming out of the kitchen. We will deff go back. Just to add this was a friday evening and so busy but the high standard of service was just great thankyou SW1 .

The restaurant is on the second floor so you get great views of the harbor. The restaurant itself is has that cozy intimate feel, the staff where very friendly and efficient, service was excellent and the food was delicious! It was my birthday, booked a table for ten people. The waitress was excellent, nothing was a problem, had a wonderful evening! Will definitely be going again!
This place is always fully booked and for good reason. I managed to get a table as someone else cancelled. The meal was incredible. You can tell the food is fresh and quality ingredients. I am terrible at booking in advance so i hope one day I can get a table again

We were here for breakfast with the whole family in June. It's a really nice, cozy place. The food was really tasty and the lady at the counter was super friendly.
We booked to come here some weeks ago after reading other positive online reviews. It didn't disappoint. The food was fabulous, the prices very reasonable and the service was attentive but not intrusive. My wife had medallions of pork wrapped in pancetta and I had the grilled skate wing with Norfolk brown shrimps and home cut fries. Both meals were a knockout. We will be back.
Went for an 18th Birthday party. The whole place to ourselves. Everything perfect.
Absolutely beautiful. My husband surprised me for the night and I was blown away. Every dish sounded amazing when we sat down, the wine was lovely and when we eventually settled on something we were not disappointed. Amazing food. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. Maybe some back ground music would of complemented the ambience but not an issue as everything else was 100% enjoyable.
