We were visiting Goring so popped in to the Catherine Wheel just after lunch to check out the menu, the young lady at the bar was so welcoming and told us about the Spanish chef they have and the wonderful tapas so we booked in for an evening meal to celebrate our anniversary. Great pub for a drink or meal, friendly staff and a very atmospheric building with secluded garden to the rear. In the heart of Goring village. Love the "hidden" toilet!
Fabulous! Wonderful friendly staff, the food was delicious and plenty of it. Prices are sensible.

Interesting pub with good beers. Now that the John Barleycorn pub has closed in Goring, there's only a few decent local pubs left, the Catherine Wheel being one of them. Nice garden at the back.
