You know it's good when the place is dim, nice music too. Lovely place. Very nice esp for seafarers around
Landlord is an absolute legend, enjoyed some nice pints and cracking warm scratchings. But later when I got stranded as no taxis he locked the pub up and gave me a lift back to Premier Inn. Everyone should support this well run business rather than the Spoons over the road 👏 👍
Efficient 'down to earth' barstaff. A friendly landlord I've personally witnessed go above and beyond to help his customers that are often "not pub related issues."
Great sounding sound system too, lacking in other pubs in the surrounding area.
Will definitely be back.
It must be good I don't even remember going. I can't comment on the food or the service but it must have been a good atmosphere but maybe good old Google has got it wrong. Maybe I went to the library next door ;)
A friendly unpretentious pub.
quiet snug in the front, banging tunes at the rear, reasonably priced beer, warm pork scratchings.
Stopped off on the way to Hull FC. Chris and his team were really good with us and the prices were an added bonus.
Very friendly shame they dont do hot drinks but it is a public house,top jeezer and learnt some history on Goole,very friendly people.
Really friendly staff. Chris the manager is very helpful and gave loads of advice about where to go in the area. Pretty cheap drinks too.
Good night out, made a change from been behind a DJ Booth.
Jailhouse was one if many we visited and as always plesent staff.

Working in goole came in tonight to watch football, great barman great people and most importantly the beer has tons of life. Quality.

Great prices for an independent pub. Can't fault it.
