Love this place. Best food for miles around. Eat there on a regular basis.
Never had a bad meal there and must have had a hundred or so there over past 2 years
Beautiful building, serving high quality, beautifully presented food all day, everyday.
Friendly staff, and equally welcome to locals and
Really nice quiet pub restaurant, myself and my friend went on Wednesday night and had an amazing meal! We both loved it and devastated we were too full to finish it! We will definitely be returning!
Wonderful pub, modern interior with original artwork on the walls, rustic touches with the beams and roaring fire, well stocked bar and really gorgeous bistro-pub menu. We love the cafe most of all though, warm and inviting with a really tasty breakfast and brunch menu, milkshakes and proper decent
What a great pub this is, they really are trying hard with something going on most nights of the week.
We walked up from the canal, a little hard going as the path was overgrown (other paths are available) but not unpleasant. It was bikers night, we weren't sure what that was until we got there and
thankyou for allowing us the use of your campsite for the great tommy sleep out
Called in for lunch on a bike ride. Lovely staff and great pizza. (Would have liked a sandwich option though, only reason for 4 stars not 5) Very interesting Mango Cider, would be easy to drink too much.
Great food (the parmo was awesome) and the staff were so friendly. It got really busy by 7pm on Saturday night and we can understand why. We will definitely be returning
We went on a cold, wet winters afternoon. I was surprised how busy it was, with more people arriving all the time we were there. A quaint Tudor style interior with a lovely open fire. How pubs used to be, friendly, warm & inviting. All the staff seem very happy to be working there not surprising with
Absolutely cracking food, great service, atmosphere & lovely people! What more can you ask for?
The food is well worth a drive to would recommend booking as does get busy especially on Sundays.
Huge outdoor area with stuff for kids.
Dog friendly ❤️
Nice cocktails too as well as good quality beers 🍻
I feel like this is the most important thing to mention.
IT'S DOG FRIENDLY! 🐶 🥰
I just love that! ❤️

I look online to see if their was an online booking service.
Booking is recommended but since there was only a phone number and email we just did a walk in which was fairly risky being
Absolutely love playing here and every time they have fed me the experience has been equally amazing. Rosie, John and Toby are a lovely family and are the heart and soul of this beautiful venue. Highly recommended to anyone.
First time since they have changed it all and fantastic food, definitely worth the drive presented beautifully and friendly staff. Nice to see dogs allowed in venue too :-)
I only pop in for a coffee whilst on a bicycle ride so I can't comment on the food. It is a warm, friendly pub and I always go in when I ride in the area. I can well recommend it from what I've seen of it.
First time I've been here, the service was really good and friendly, the food was great and the grandkids cleared their plates. Can highly recommend it 👍🏻
Another great visit for Sunday lunch! Staff were great even with a large birthday party that was eating, service was efficient.
My wife and I were in the area visiting someone and were early, so visited here on the recommendation of the person we were visiting.
As they had just opened, there was no issue getting a seat (although from speaking to the owners, if you want Sunday lunch, it's best to book in by midweek at the la
Very nice place to visit. Good food and choice. We found it on the dear side. Friendly staff and good service.
This place is out of the way but definitely worth the drive!
The food was so good, we especially loved the baked cambembert and the parmos. The atmosphere was lively on a Saturday with great music. Service was friendly, too.
Recommend a reservation as it was a full house!
