My partner had won the valentines meal. It was honestly faultless. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff were professional and helpful. Could not fault it one bit. Thank you for a wonderful time �
Visited on 19/07/16 Due to the weather being good we where able to sit in the Beer Garden. The Menu had lots of variety and as we sat watching the food coming out to other customers we could not wait to order . The food we ordered was fantastic and very flavoursome and plenty of it . We where staying at Saltmarshe Hall , So at the end of the night we asked the staff to order us a taxi the lady did say we may have difficulty getting a taxi this did concern me but she reassured me if she could not get us a taxi one of the staff would take us now that is customer service , thankfully a taxi was found . Great place pleased we found it and we will be back
I haven't had a Sunday dinner for quite sometime now... I was clutching at straws when I called to ask for a table but my persistence paid off and i was rewarded with a much needed hearty Sunday dinner. The service was perfect the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable to dine in and the food was value for money. We shall 100% be returning, Thank-you everyone 🙃
We rang to see if we could stay in the car park overnight and booked 4 Sunday lunches which were excellent the staff really friendly and helpful. We had to go for a lovely long walk along the river after a large lunch 😁 we all had a really peaceful quite nights sleep with just an owl for company. We will hopefully return when next up this way.
First time visit today, we had Sunday Lunch, all home cooked & brought desserts home as we were both full. Beautiful setting & Pub, staff were fantastic too, we will 100% be back

Had a range of classic pub meals on the menu, and a separate veggie menu. The food we ordered was nice, not too much so left room for dessert.

Dropped by on the way home from Wales. Lovely beer garden, tasty food and Aspall cider- what more could you want? Husband had fish and chips which he liked. Good value quality food, friendly people, definitely one to recommend.
Food was good. Service was good also. We just felt a bit rushed to leave @8:30. Mopping and wiping around our table.
Lovely meal here this evening, the food was lovely and all the staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly. If pushed the wait for our main meals was a little excessive but it wouldnt put us off coming again if we were in the area

I visited for the first time with my Mum and Stepdad for my Mum's birthday. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. We all had 2 courses from the light bites menu. I had the prawn cocktail for my starter and for my main course I had the steak and ale cobbler with mash. I will definitely go back again without doubt.

Lovely Sunday lunch. A great pint of Landlord. Nice village pub. Recommended.

The gravy was delicious and ample portions. Prawn cocktail aesthetically pleasing but needed to ask for more sauce
Called in whilst on a walk, felt a bit peckish so we ordered off the light menu,i had liver,bacon,mash and veg,it was lovely! The bar/waiting staff were very friendly and attentive,though it wasn't busy when we were there.Only had Guiness in cans so I had a real ale which was nice.To me the percy isn't a drinking pub it's set up for eating.Landlord seemed a tad grumpy especially for Xmas Eve!
Had a family birthday lunch here. Lovely venue and setting plus the garden and the conservatory Food was really good, atmosphere was great and the staff (particularly Lauren) were fantastic. They let us take our own cake, kept it chilled for us, then presented - candle lit - at the table after our meal. Made our family day. Proper 5* Service.

On a wet and cold Friday lunchtime decided to give this place a try. Was not disappointed. We both had fish and chips which was excellent - fresh with homemade chips!
