A lovely little rustic pup friendly staff. Steps to main door I'm not sure if there is any disabled access. Nice Sunday lunch not a large pup so not crowded. Lovely countryside on the door step to walk off those extra ounces

Such friendly attentive staff. Super helpful and adaptable with food allergies and we’re able to include all. Owner was lovely and involved too. Delicious food and atmosphere was great. Staff were excellent serving. Lovely clean refreshing pub, plenty of areas to sit too! Will definitely return

Dined with friends - pub under new management. Amazing food, great menu, good wine, really friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly - very important! Lovely country pub that I’ve visited many times over many years, under several different managers. Really hopeful for a good new future under this team - we’re returning very soon to try more from the menu! Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best roast EVER! This is our second visit since the new owners have taken over, everything was absolutely delicious, the beer was excellent and in pristine condition, fab atmosphere and beautiful walks and countryside surrounding! What could be better!

Great food and service in a beautiful location. The steak just melts in your mouth, and the variety of other dishes, especially the Vietnamese inspired, are to die for. Kim and Ian certainly know how to keep customers coming back for more.

Discovered the pub by chance as we walked around the village. Popped in for snack and was pleasantly surprised with the menu. Not expensive and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful countryside pub, lovely staff and super tasty food. Great garden to enjoy a drink and lunch in the sun. We had onion rings, deep fried beef, potted duck and wedges all was delicious.

Update to earlier review. We booked midweek lunch with friends at The Firtzwalter Arms - it’s such a pretty location and the pub/restaurant has recently undergone a make-over, it’s very pretty and characterful inside with a good space and lovely light. We each chose something different from their extensive and varied menu and we were pleasantly surprised at how gluten friendly everything was - in fact, all 4 meals were gluten free - which meant I could pinch hubbies chips! The Half Rack of Ribs was ginormous, and we all enjoyed our meals very much. Service was good, and owner friendly and ‘available’ which was good to see. We ended up having coffee in their huge Beer Garden - all in all a great meal and great experience. Definitely highly recommend!
