I love this place! Never disappointed, it’s always amazing. Great food, amazing cakes and very friendly service. I certainly recommend it! I can personally say the salads, soups, quiches and paninis are fantastic.....but I doubt anything on the menu would let you down!

Me, my 2 boys and our dog walked down to the fiddle drill today to purchase some vouchers. I was so pleased to find out that they were dog friendly so we ended up staying for sandwiches and cakes! Couldn’t fault the food and the brownie was 10/10! So beautifully done inside, such a great warm atmosphere and the toy box was a definite win for my boys! All the staff were very friendly and at one point my boys were playing hide and seek and the staff were helping them with their game! Will definitely be visiting again!

Visited with my 20 week old baby and received a lovely warm welcome. Plenty of space for a push chair and great to see a proper changing table and mat rather then a wall hung changing table! Relaxed cosy atmosphere with great local food at good prices. Would highly recommend the quiche and the Oreo cake! The Fiddle Drill is also dog friendly so perfect for popping in for a cuppa on the way back from a walk!

I visited today with my husband and 14-week old son and we loved it. The food was brilliant - we had a scotch egg (lovely runny yolk!), sausage roll and the best white chocolate chip brownies we've ever tasted. It's great value as our food and a luxury hot chocolate came to just under £10 plus everything was homemade. The place is immaculately decorated too and the service was quick and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Called into the Fiddle Drill today for lunch with partner Rob . I had the ham and cheese quiche with salad and he had the platter consisting of runny scotch egg , game pie ,salad and pickle . Both scrumptious . Friendly staff and lovely barn style venue . We'll be back !

Nice little cafe in the small village good for a drive on a beautiful day. Food was delicious and varied. The space was a bit noisy. Came for a morning coffee and stayed for lunch.

Yeah, very pleasant little place for a cuppa etc. Spacious feel to it. Plenty of outdoor seating and has some parking. I had a pot of very welcome tea and an ice cold Fentimans ginger beer with ice and I tried the pineapple and cherry cake. It was all reet grand bar the fact the young lass served my lovely cold drink in a boiling hot glass, yikes, noooooo. Big no. I've worked in hospitality and you simply just do not serve a refreshing cold drink in a scalding hot glass. Receptacle needs to be cold. Crikey bobs, basic. That's the only reason it's a four and not a five star. When I pointed it out, the lass did change the glass for me, half the ice had already melted..... But lovely friendly and welcoming staff nevertheless. Would not impinge on my decision to revisit as it was nice, clean place too.

Found this place on my first visit to Yorkshire. Delightful/quaint place. A welcome respite after a long day's walk! Excellent coffee, sticky toffee cake was to die for. Also tried out their cocktail, mimosa, but weak but nice. A great place to meet up, relax and eat after exploring the countryside. Didn't try any food but menu looked good. saw other ppl enjoying food .

Popped in for the first time on a Friday afternoon for a coffee with my friend. There was only one table free so obviously very popular! Only had a coffee and a brownie as we were short of time but the menu looked great and we will certainly be returning.

Fantastic little spot for eats and drinks. Has a superb Panini, a delicious chocolate brownie, and an excellent coffee. Just wish it were a little closer to home, as is undoubtedly a popular bike stop.

Food and drink always nice. Not very big if you want to sit in, but nice if you can. We used to be able to take the dog in but this has been stopped. There is outdoor seating that the staff try to keep dry. Having a lean to would be useful. Staff always friendly. I would certainly recommend.
