Review Poppy's Coffee Shop - Golspie

The all time best bacon roll ever. Coffee spot on, friendly service, sit in the sun outside when it shines. Bliss.

We visited Poppy's on Sat 21st May 2022 and had great coffee and toasted scones. We came back on Tues 24th for breakfast (good, though I prefer links to be cooked to a crisp on the outside) and returned for a sandwich at the end of our walk. Although it was almost 3.30pm and they close at 4pm, they made us really fresh sandwiches (tuna and apple, prawn Marie Rose) and more of their great coffee. Driving past about 1.30pm today (25th) we noticed it was closed, when we thought they opened 7 days a week. But enjoy if you get the chance.

Very friendly staff, helpful in getting us a table as they were busy and there was 6 of us. Coffee was excellent, good choice of tray bakes, eldest described the Apple and Cinnamon cake as ‘lush’ only comment would be the cheese scones tasted sweet… bizarre. Milkshakes went down a treat too. Would definitely recommend Poppy’s Coffee Shop.

Had a veggie breakfast and prawn sandwich to day both excellent plus we both had coffee very good as well, staff very friendly and background music great ( if you like Bowie and Bob and earl soul music and 70's 80's) we'll be back on our next visit to the Dentist

Excellent little cafe right on the main road (A9) through Golspie. When we first called the cafe was full up but by the time we came back later we were able to get a table for five of us. Once we were seated we were served very quickly. My little nephew and my sister consumed this apple tart and ice cream between them and declared it was delicious.

Great Breakfast and friendly staff. Very good Coffee too by Inverness Coffee Roasting Company I believe. Handy parking nearby 😊☕

Fantastic little cafe in Golspie, excellent food and the 'meal deal' is very good value too.

Love the scones! We come here a lot on the way further south and it's a great little place to stop for a bite on your journey. Food is always great, and the staff are lovely and friendly!

Nice caffe, friendly stuff. Could have more vegan options but the coffe was delicious :)

I have just had a burger that really was the best tasting one ever, and I don't say that lightly, the carrot cake was absolutely spot on! We will be back again on my next visit through Golspie. Lets not forget the friendly staff, would certainly recommend a visit here.

Poppy’s is fantastic, the food is great, prices are amazing and lovely staff, after big burn walk the soup and cheese scone went down a treat. Definitely 5 star ��

My friend and I popped into Poppies on our way back to Glasgow, 1st of all was the lovely welcome, so cheery, fresh baking, which after eating our hearty brunch we took some away with us, lovely coffee and filled rolls, and although I hate to say it, (as I pride myself in making the best poached eggs) they were better than mine, well done, thanks again xx

Nice coffee & cakes but tables feel a bit too close together.
