Beautiful warm dining areas (conservatory and main area) and a fully stocked bar. Great atmosphere, lively at the bar but relaxing eating areas. Lots of parking and garden area. What really stands out from any other pub is the quality of the food and the service. It was busy but we didn't wait for long at all. I have weird dietary requirements (medical) and the chef made me a bespoke meal which was outstanding. Well done all. See you soon!

We had a lovely lunch here this month. There was good selection and many options including a clear allergen menu online. The food was of good quality and sizeable portions. There was a lunchtime deal with two courses for a reasonable price. The venue itself is deceptively big, has a nice atmosphere, and decor. Staff very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault anything. I also appreciated the car park having ample spaces for customers. We will definitely be returning.

This is a lovely pub/restaurant with a cozy atmosphere in the colder months and places to spread out in the summer, with its west facing garden, where you can eat and drink. It's close to the Godstone green and nearby walks.

Situated just off the junction of Godstone sits a lovely little village that boasts, The Bell Inn, a classic luxury Tudor style vibe, isolated by the rural country you can only get here by either car or the local cabs the reason for this is because this place is catering for the wealthy families that grace this beautiful area. The Bell Inn is beautiful both inside and out and is for anyone who wants an amazing luxury atmosphere and quality food and drink, as you enter you will be greeted by warming staff, who will pay the utmost respect to you whether your coming just for a few drinks at the bar or eating in at the restaurant they will sort you out quickly. Food and drinks come quick with their high profile of respected food and a quality chefs this place has a great reputation..the deserts are also luxurious I like the 🍪 cookie and double chocolate.. just to top it off I advise you to check out the massive outdoor gardens which bring out the true character of this Wonderful barn( farmhouse ) the best times I find to go is around 2pm - 5pm

Never been here before. Got a table outside to enjoy to enjoy the warm weather we've been having. The staff were really friendly. The beer was good and the food was good. What more can you say. Plenty of parking even though it was really busy and I didn't wait long for my for after ordering. Had the pork belly with all the trimmings. Reasonable price as well for today's crazy market.

One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Menu looked great will definitely be returning back to try more and sample their Sunday roast! Staff were friendly, prices average for the quality and good drink selection. Lots of cosy corners to choose from too.

Evening meal for six adults. Extensive menu, great linguini, friendly efficient staff, reasonable middle of the road prices and good atmosphere. My only minus bearing In mind covid times was the toilets having handles that would have been handled by many others. A common complaint of mine. But would still recommended.

Staff extremely helpful. Nice table in Conservatory as I'd requested. Used my voucher for free dessert. Really enjoyable. It was a shame I signed up to go on email list too late for free meal on my birthday but enjoyed meeting family from at The Bell regardless!!

Great room there called the snug for a party of about 25. The tomato’s soup I had was fantastic, pizza was ok not as tasty as it could have been, white chocolate cheesecake (see photo) very sweet but looks stunning. Lovely wine and gin. Everyone else liked the food. Service was excellent and could not be faulted.

Good pub to have an evening meal. The Pork belly was excellent and good selection of wine. There was a problem with the freezer that day, so some things were not available, but we were phoned prior to our reservation regarding this. The manager handled this problem very well. Will return when next in the UK.

Been here 3 times now and every time has been excellent. The food and service are of a high standard, the bar and eating area are nicely done and there was plenty of parking even at peak times. Recommended!!

They say ' do not judge a book by it's cover' , well that very much applies to the Bell Inn, Godstone. From the road as you drive past, the pub looks a bit cold and uninviting. However looks are very deceiving because once inside, you will find a. charming 14th Century old pub full of personality, beautifully furnished, and oozing ambience . There are essentially three components to the pub- an entrance bar only area leading to a lovely restaurant, both in the original building. To one side however is a conservatory type extension , which also hosts dining facilities overlooking a nice garden at the rear of the pub. Lunch for us was a prawn( with crab) linguine and, a seared salmon dish with new potatoes, both nicely presented and easy on the palate. There is a good selection of wine and beer on offer, and the staff who served us ( Samantha and Jessica) clearly enjoy their work as they made us feel so welcome. It would be hard to find fault with anything this establishment offers, it is a gem and clearly others agree as the dining areas filled up fast after 6 pm. As it is just a 5 minute drive off the M25 , I shall be back soon for sure!

Fantatsic Sunday roast. Pork belly and chicken were delicious. Beef was a little over done for my liking, but still very nice. Only disappointing thinking was the crackling was a bit burnt. An absolute must go to for Sunday roast lovers.

Food was good although extremely expensive-£62 for 2 courses with no alcohol! Served one wrong main meal so took it away saying they’d bring correct one. Left my husbands getting cold so we asked for a fresh one for him when they brought mine. 5 mins later came out with current meals one being the original one which was lukewarm!
