Popped by late to try and get some chips to go with our dinner and they kindly allowed us to still come in and get some even though it was 1 minute to closing! Popped on early on a Saturday, took a few minutes to be acknowledged which worries me. Food was cooked fresh (battered sausage and chips), portion size was really good but sadly it was all lacking in flavour - think they need to invest in a better frying oil. Shame as it has potential.

Very long wait for fish and chips. Staff seemed to be annoyed that they were busy!! 🙄 Event was happening over at the park, they should have been better prepared for extra customers. Don’t be put off by the ‘rustic’ interior, the food is delicious. Plump, white, flakey cod with perfect chippy chips, communication can be a little difficult but rudeness is mistaken for lack of English. Fantastic choice will use again.

Hideous food smells like old oil. Soft fries covered with some kind of cheese slime are terrible I do not recommend

Awful Pizza, took one bite and straight in the bin, it had a terrible aftertaste, worst pizza i have ever had in my whole life, first time customer and no warm welcome when entering the premises. Never again!

Very nice venue with a cosy ambiance. Decor a mix between old & contemporary. Fish was fresh with large portions.
