We went there on a whim rather than ordering takeout from there. Excellent food, outstanding service. Very friendly. The food was so hot when it came out we had to wait for it to cool down before we could eat it. Service was quick and timely. The pricing is good too. 2 X Mains, 2 X Rice, 2 X drinks and a bread came to £35. I would highly recommend

Friendly little takeaway and restaurant on the riverfront in Godmanchester. Delicious food and has remained very reasonably priced compared to local competitors. Two phone numbers meaning you can nearly always get straight through to order. Never eaten in but the restaurant looks nice. Highly recommended!
Had a lovely meal at Planet Spice tonight. Staff were very attentive, efficient and professional. Food was very fresh, hot and delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good Indian meal out in a very picturesque setting. We will be back soon!
I do like it here. The food is great and good value, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. It usually quite busy, in a good way, and has a nice atmosphere when it is. The takeaway service is also Great, prompt and good quality, or collect for a slight discount. Even the kids like it and the staff make a fuss of them. So lucky to have such a good good restaurant so close by.

First time ordering from Planet Spice (we usually collect from an Indian in St Ives) so was looking for somewhere closer. We ordered at 6pm, food was ready to collect 40 mins later which was great. The guy on the phone was really polite which is always a good start! We collected the food at 7, as we were running a little late and it was still hot and fresh. The guy in the shop checked our order and again was really nice. The price we paid for what we ordered was really good as we got 10% off for collecting. The portion sizes was really generous, especially the curries! The tubs were full to the brim with thick tasty sauce and tender meat (lamb tikka masala and butter chicken) we also had rice, chips, keema naan (which had plenty of meat in) and a paswari naan. The food was nice and very filling. If this is how the curries always are then we would no doubt return so we will be trying here again to see if they are the same as what we got the first time round. Defo worth a try if your looking for somewhere new.
Curries are delicious, though (if you like curries on the milder side) they may be hotter than a similar curry from different restaurants.
Good knowledge of dishes and ingredients when asked over the phone when ordering. Delicious curry delivered to our door in less than the predicted time on a busy Friday night. Food was still hot and tasted freshly made. Would definitely recommend.
Was recommended to try. Glad we did. Had meat mardas a bit hotter than we were use to but still very edible. Portions size large, service good, we had delivery arrived 45mins. Will order again.
