Lovely cosy pub, we had just taken the dogs for a walk around the nature reserve and popped in, they welcomed the dirty wet dogs in the bar, we enjoyed drinks and lunch which was lovely highly recommend and we will go back, the dogs were a hit with the owner and the locals, bowl of water and a couple of sausages and they were happy too.
Fabulous pub. Fabulous food. Fabulous staff. Overall absolutely fabulous place and will definitely be returning after a lovely meal last night finished off very nicely with a large Tequila�
Fantastic location for a family meal, great food too! The waiters were friendly and made time for us. We're looking forward to visiting again! Plus, complementary birthday wine is always a bonus.
Had the Black Bull as our wedding venue. Booked all 5 rooms. A brilliant team led by Clair. Everything was done how we wanted and to a tremendous high standard. Food for our wedding meal was amazing and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed it and there were many compliments. Any one wishing to have a venue, a meal in the pub or stay the night will not be disappointed! We can't thank them enough for making our day extra special.

75 guests. Perfect. Claire and her team enabled us to make the venue into our dream wedding. Fantastic staff and food and nothing was ever too much. As a wedding planner I recommend this place xxx

We were out walking in the area and saw the signs for the Black Bull, glad we did, amazing Sunday roast and the gravy is awesome I had to get some bread to finish it off.
Ciders and beers on tap with a relaxed atmosphere a great place to stop and recover.
Great little Pub and Accommodation. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy and very comfortable Bed. The Pub down stairs has a warm friendly feeling with helpful staff. Close enough to Cambridge and attractions.
The team were absolutely exceptional and went above and beyond to make a leaving do on a Friday night run so smoothly. A particular thank you to Mae for her fantastic customer service. Thank you!
I booked a room on Friday , the room quite clean and tidy, but the bathroom shower not well and not enough of the clothes stand , the restaurant very nice, I recommend the leg of lamb with gravy sauce

Had a light lunch here during our dog walk. The pub is dog friendly and the service was excellent with friendly staff. It was not too busy and the food was great.
Fantastic night at the Tuesday jam night! A very talented and welcoming team (especially the landlord on accordion!) Great drinks and Neck Oil on tap and dog friendly too! If you tried the Bull under previous management try it again you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely place to stay, eat and drink.
Exactly what you want. Free parking, fantastic, well priced food, a good breakfast and a selection of drinks. I stayed for 3 nights and slept well. Rooms are clean and spacious enough, staff very helpful.
Things to improve? Well the holder for the shower head was broken meaning it kept falling off and hitting me on the head..
Will be staying with you again soon.
A massive thank you to Steve and his staff! Having been let down massively by a local wedding venue - Steve and his team have gone out their way to give us and amazing wedding at very short notice. I feel so reassured that the evening will be perfect.

The service was friendly and efficient. The beer was great (laganitas on tap, amazing) and so was the food. My wife and I hadn't actually planned on stopping there, but I'm glad we did and we will be back.
Room was a little tired however, I cannot fault the cleanliness. The bed was a little hard but that is not a fault just a personal préférence. I slept with the window open and was not disturbed by noise. A very pleasant room. The staff were amazing, very friendly and always had a smile. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone it is a super place to stay.
Over Christmas we visited with friend (group booking of 8) and pre ordered from the Christmas Menu.
Food was lovely and decent sized portions.
Only down side was they didn’t offer table service for drinks and we were located in the room furthest from the bar.
A warm welcome awaits you when arrive and continues throughout your visit to the Black Bull. Lovely food and very friendly service. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend to all 😀
Lovely place to stay. A warm welcome and clean rooms. Would have given it 5 stars, but our only snag was the emergency light in the room we were in lit up the whole room in a green tinge, making it hard to get to sleep.
