Donna behind the bar was so lovely to my mum when she was there! Mum was struggling to find away to get to the next town and Donna went above and beyond to get her a taxi. The taxi driver ended up being the owner of the pub who went out of his way to help her.
She said they were the friendliest pub
The people that work here are so caring and so friendly. I got into difficulties and they went above and beyond to help me I will definitely come back here as even if I jad no problem they were so friendly and made me feel so welcome xx
Local pub on outskirts of Godalming.good range of beers. General homemade pub food. Chilli & rice was good. Live music most Saturdays
Great atmosphere, great low prices and good quality food!
I popped in here on my travels the other day, I just needed a warm place to hold up whilst I waited for a lift to my next job, I was made to feel welcome, even though I wasn't spending a great deal... Just how an old school pub should be... Its in my friendly places to return to list. 👍
Lovely pub with character and plenty of seating outside. The Sunday roast 😋 best I've has in a long while. Can't fault the staff, happy, friendly and chatty so I wouldn't worry about going there for the 1st time as they make you feel like you're the only one there.
Only nipped in coz we needed a quick drink after a scary experience at a hotel .
They seemed okay but not overly friendly.
I guess we stood out as strangers and therfore they kept there distance

Super tasty food! The homemade chips were huge and devine. The pulled pork was perfectly smoked and full of flavour and the onion rings were the perfect side. It arrived ahead of time and was still piping hot when delivered. Would definitely recommend to friends.
My friend and I went for the Sunday carvery excellent choice of three meats and plenty of help yourself vegetables £10.95 well worth it. The staff very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Will definitely recommend and return.
