The Charterhouse Arms has recently reopened and is a revelation. Refurbished as a proper pub with functional tables and much improved seating, well kept real ale and all the usual additional suspects. Fabulous, well priced menu and the chef is a keeper. Home made fishfinger sandwich? The best in the world :-)
The refurbishment is beautifully done and the food is awesome. The chef there is definitely one of the best around the area.

I have never been here before and was invited by a friend for Sunday lunch. The Pub was very clean, nicely decorated and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and competent. It was also very family friendly for all ages. Despite the place heaving with customers wanting their Sunday lunch (which in many pubs means a 2 hour wait), the team brought out the food together at the appropriate time. The Food...... was simply delicious and we all left feeling that this was going to be our new Sunday home. They clearly have employed a proper chef who knows what he is doing! We will be back.

A fantastic new addition to the area, great staff, fabulous food and good beer.
From the moment we walked in we were welcomed not only by the staff, but the pub itself is inviting, light and well set out, it felt large and cosy at the same time.
The menu wasn’t massive which is sometimes a positive, and this was definitely one of those occasions, because the items they did have on the menu were done really well.
(I must caveat the photos are taken after a few pieces of squid and wings were taken, so the portion sizes look smaller than they were)
We had the Korean bbq wings and the Squid to the start. The wings had a good kick to them and the squid came with a lovely chilli jam.
For mains 3 of us had Meat burgers and 1 of us had the Veggie burger, none of us were dissatisfied or disappointed. The meat was good well, and the burger was juicy with a nice portion of crispy chips. All in all it was a great pub meal and not to pricey either.
The beer selection was good something for everyone, I had my go to Neck oil.
We were all really impressed and will definitely be back again soon.
This is the first time we’ve been here over the years we’ve lived in the area. I think since we have lived here it’s changed hands 3 times, the last owners made it a bikers pub, we always wanted to go in, but the sign saying bikers only did put us off a little. They soon took that sign down and opened it to the public.
Met up with family and enjoyed a fantastic meal in relaxed pub atmosphere. Food all very good- enjoyed a mixture of starters and mains. Really attentive manager who made us all feel welcome- lovely pub dog too! Thank you and very happy to recommend. We will be visiting again!

Best Pub in Surrey. Food is absolutely delightful. Hmmm yum scrummy! The entertainment they offer every weekend is out of this world for real. I would highly recommend to any friend, family or acquaintance.

This a top pub. Haven't been back for many years and was surprised. Its obviously very popular as it was crowded and yet the service and food was excellent. I will be back!
