Excellent food with really good service. Each course was really good. The Bloody Mary Prawn Cocktail was the best prawn cocktail I have ever had. The Sunday roasts (lamb and beef) were great and the desserts were to die for. Would highly recommend this place for food.
We came here for dinner this evening with our extended family and really enjoyed ourselves. The pub location is gorgeous, the restaurant and bar area are comfortable and clean. The chicken burger was great. We had an issue with the dessert but the staff went above and beyond to rectify the issue and

We had a wonderful long weekend stay and the staff were so friendly and so attentive. The food was first class and fresh and we couldn't fault anything. The room was clean and well maintained and we had everything we needed. So thank you to everyone at The Stag On The River.
Lovely pub, we were in the outdoor marquee which had beautiful rustic decor with blankets, fluffy rugs! The Rugby was on which was a big tick for the rugby fan folk in our family
