Wow, amazing gem in a secluded and amazing location. Staff customer service is excellent, food is absolutely gorgeous and the Wrexham lager is amazing. You won't be disappointed. We will be returning customers and can't wait.
Such a lovely experience. A great welcome, very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, nice surroundings, pleasantly surprised to find out they have accommodation too - lodges etc. This is a little hidden gem! I'm pretty sure we will be back again soon.

We had afternoon tea there which was sensational.
The staff were so lovely and treated us as friends . They took the time to talk to us and told us about the grounds. Such a warm and lovely welcome , nothing was too much trouble .I would definitely recommend and will be going back !!!
Im looking forward to seeing the new menu this weekend. The atmosphere is nice and cosy and relaxing. Dogs friendly. Plus accessible for wheelchairs and baby's pram
Excellent steak dinner! Ribeye was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavour. The sides complimented the steak well, and the restaurant had a good selection of wine and champagne. Only down side was the peppercorn sauce, although it tasted beautiful, it was absolutely loaded with peppercorns and would have spoilt the steak if I had poured the sauce over.
As we was staying at Henlle Hall we decided to give the breakfast a go. I had eggs Benedict and my partner had a breakfast. Everything was great apart from the beans being cold on the breakfast.
Excellent customer service and great attention to detail. The decor and feel of the room is brilliant!
What a hidden gem! So private, wood cabins circle a deer park and pond. Cabins are surrounded by trees. Very relaxing, nice cabins with decking and jacuzzi. Staff are very friendly. We'll be back!
My favourite place xx beautiful surroundings, service and people x the perfect secret escape. Amazing food!! Including a large, varied, vegan menu! Love it here x
Beautiful location and our lunch was lovely. £2 for the cake after the Sunday roast seemed a great deal!
We played at Henlle Heights for a Christmas evening live music night. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Cannot recommend enough for a daytime coffee/lunch or an evening meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re passing through!

We have lived in this area for around five months and discovered this gem of a place while exploring the area and booked a stay in one of the lodges as a birthday treat for my wife. We ate in the restaurant last night and were more than impressed, the staff were all so friendly, welcoming and attentive. Service was swift, even as the restaurant was getting busier.
The menu, had a good choice of dishes and I believe changes regularly, they also have different themed nights .. ‘Fish Night’, ‘Steak Night’ etc which as we are lucky enough to live in the local area we are looking forward to trying!
The food was presented perfectly and tasted as good as it looked. I chose the crispy chilli beef which was served with a fancy green leaf salad on top. I always worry when ordering beef dishes that it might be tough but the beef in this dish just melted in the mouth and the crispy chilli coating was full of flavour ..... my wife tried some of my dish and she loved it so much we ending up swapping half of our meals ... so I also got to try the chuck steak burger and chunky chips which was equally delicious.
This morning We had breakfast.. the game keepers breakfast included a steak which, whilst I wasn’t expecting much of was actually worthy of serving up for an evening meal along with chips ... but for the breakfast was served with poached eggs, sauté potatoes, vine tomatoes, a large mushroom and toast .... awesome!
Looking forward to another meal this evening .... if I can manage it after that breakfast !
I thoroughly recommend Henlle Heights and we are looking forward to bringing our future house guests here for some posh nosh 🙂
There seemed to only be one member of staff serving, it definitely needed someone else. But the food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. Would visit again.
Absolutely fantastic establishment. My wife and myself were made to feel very welcome on several occasions. We stayed in the drake lodge on-site.

Lovely building and had a dog friendly section which was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seemed to be a good selection of drinks, only downside was no menus. Cakes were very good.
Hidden gem, amazing food and a nice atmosphere. Restaurant and facilities are very modern, someone has clearly invested a lot of money in to making this place look amazing.
Change in guard has done wonders here. We had read some unpleasant reviews and seems the owners have taken notice and made changes. Lovely food and atmosphere topped up with world class service, thank you Alan!
Had a nice lunch sitting on the terrace. Then a walk around the grounds. The cabins look amazing
Had drinks and cake here at the weekend with friends. The service was excellent - nothing was too much trouble. The setting is so relaxed too. Dog friendly.
