Really lovely place. We popped by after walking to the spout itself. We are in the bar area. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious. The toilets were so clean and smelt amazing!! Would definitely revisit. They accommodated a group of 7 with a dog and children and it was great.
Looks posh, nice and comfortable furnishings they've really made this hotel lovely and welcoming.
Nice friendly staff and well kept bar, I liked the different feeling between sitting in the lounge areas and the bar.

Stayed several times over the years and always found it very welcoming and good food. Disappointed with our recent Spring visit .. not to the usual standard; couldn’t care a less attitude by some staff. Seemed to be no leadership. Hope standards are sharpened up.
A traditional hotel with exceptionally friendly staff and guests. An attractive building with gorgeous views to the front and back. You can enjoy the food in the smart restaurant or as wholesome bar meals. The bar is good enough that locals and non residents use it as a pub. With decent ale on hand

Fabulous afternoon tea which was absolutely delicious. A lovely way to spend a January afternoon .We sat on a table overlooking the garden watching the squirrels. Thankyou for making us feel so welcome .

We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate a friends 60th birthday and have to say the place is amazing . We were in two of the suites on the 3rd floor rooms 21 & 23 ours was so large it had a door bell but was perfect for the 4 of us to gave a pre dinner glass of fizz . The

On the walk back from the falls, we had a delightful stop-off at the Coach House Cafe.
A small cafe next door to, and owned by, the hotel, we had excellent cake and drinks.
Tea in a pot! Fab! Decent coffee and excellent hot chocolate.
Just right to dry us out, warm us up and get us back on the road.

Went for Sunday lunch which was delicious. Large helpings served in a timely and efficient friendly manner. The gingerbread martini was delicious.
